My dad has always said "you'll know you're getting old when your knees buckle and your pants don't" !!

Excuse me now, ladies, as I have an appointment to get rid of the grey that is bumming out and pissing off my blondeness!! I usually get my hair done every 6 weeks, but since this neck-thingy I haven't had it done since November!!! I need it baaaaaaad!!

I hated turning 40 my eye sight is going need to wear reading glasses just to see the print .whats more embarrassing, is going to the store and you cant see the reciept to write your name .and getting down on the floor to play with the babys and not being able to get back up .

I am also in my 40's. I feel a little lucky so far. I have not found a grey hair yet. Nor have I had to get glasses. But I do see wrinkles around the eyes.......and the weight is getting easy to put on and a lot harder to take off. I would love to have a tummy tuck and a breast lift. My yorkie will only let me turn him over and hold him like a baby. My daughter said it is because I am the only one with pillows for him to lay on. (haha)

You are a woman after my own heart!! I am with you, my friend, and at 51 I feel better than I have ever felt in my life!! I eat right, I get exercise, I work and play hard, and am involved in my community. I spend at least one evening a week with my two grandbabies, and I am LOVING my yorkies soooooo much!! Wosie is the light of my life! That little girl keeps me young! And like you, the Miata convertible puts a huge smile on my face on a sunny day!

I WILL AGE GRACEFULLY, but I will stay as young as I can as LONG as I can!!!

These new dangfangled computers are causing me nothing but stress today. The weather here is awful and my DSL keeps shutting down. It’s a hit or miss type day, read a post and wait for the green lights to go back on on my modem. I love this thread and all of you are hysterical. I will be replying more when Verizon gets it’s act together, right now it’s just too frustrating, I keep getting the "timed out message" when I try to submit a message……

This will be about my 20th try, and counting

Hey i hear ya on the glasses , i have about 20 pair of reading glasses in the house seems like everytime i need to read i can't find a pair geez then whats worse is if i go out and find i dont have any with me so my partner who only needs glasses for distance will take his off to read a menu while i am scampering to find glasses to put on . usually ends up him reading it for me ..

I am just blind so the glasses thing has Always been an issue for me. So who has found the best eye cream, skin moisturizer/firmer/line minimizer cream?

MEme ...hahaha its the drug prednisone ...jk but it makes your face so full and round you never notice the wrinkles ..lol i tell the docters all the time ..you should market this stuff for wrinkles ..

You are so right...my husband is on a pretty big dose and poor guy has filled out in places he didn't even know he had...

My hair has gray highlights, and no, they're not from the beauty shop.....they're natural. The wrinkles around my eyes I like to think add character to my face and if you look past the wrinkles you'll see a hint of a sense of humour in my blue eyes. The age spots on my hands and arms I'm hoping that someday they'll run together and I'll have a really nice tan!! The weight that I have added through the years I use as a life preserver when I go swimming. I have days where I absolutely cannot add two numbers together and get the same answer twice. (I had this happen recently too!) The memory has gotten really bad. I finally remember names that I couldn't think of... the next day. I forget everything!!!! I have Post-it notes all over the house (which reminds me I need to add another one!!) I wake up in the night throwing off my covers only to turn around and pull them back on. There are sooo many other things and if I could remember them I'd write about them too. I guess you'll have to wait until tomorrow!!!

Boy isn't that the truth! I must have about 7 pairs of reading glasses, but never seem to find them when I need them. I can see fine except for reading. I bring my purse to the restauraunts just so I will have glasses to read the menu with.
