| New baby We just found out that we are going to have another "human" baby in November. So, any prayers for a healthy and uncomplicated pregnancy would be great. And any info on how to make Buster feel like part of the pregnancy and not feel as though he's getting left out would also be greatly appreciated. Buster is great with our 11 month old but we got him when she was already 8 months old and he's been great with her ever since. I guess I'm just scared on how to make him not get jealous.

| First of all congratulations and best wishes on ur pregnancy!!! I can't say I have experience w/ babies and yorkies but I would think that Buster would just need time to get used to another baby. As you said, he's great w/ your 11 month old so I wouldn't worry too much except for maybe keeping his curiosity out of the crib... mg: |

| awwww, conrgats on your pregnancy!!! We had our shepherd for a lil over a year when my son was born. What we were told to do by our trainer as well as our vet was to bring home a baby blanket with your new babys scent so your dog can get used to that first. Xaro(my dog) was fine with the new baby. We just let him sit by us when we held the baby and now after nine months he loves laying by him. Im not sure how it is with the smaller breeds though. Im sure everything will turn out well again congrats on the baby!!!!!!! |
