| Someone stole our bank account info... TWICE! It happened about 2 weeks ago..an account the hubby had with an LLC company he formed a fw years ago (with family) the account doesn't get used anymore, but is still open. Someone tried charging like $25 to an oversars airline (ryan air??) and they called us and we said, um no, that wasn't us! THEN!!!!!!!!! I get a phone call just now that someone tried charging $25 to THE SAME DARN AIRLINE!!!!!!!! only this time on MY bank card #. SO I had to cancel the darn thing, tell hubby to get cash out for me (since I alwys use my bank card) and now I can panic about it all! Of course he blames me since I shop online, but I think thats safer than using it in stores!! He'll probably have to order a new card too! I just can't believe that someone would have the GUTS to go after the same people twice! It has to be thes ame person, as its an odd charge! I am soooo miffed Some people are just soooo stupid! Ok vent over...but I dont feel any better! Then I have to call a few places (gym memebership, netflix, etc..since they are automatically linked to my account each month!) GRRRRRRRRR

| I would be scared to use a debit card for online purchases. I only use credit cards for that. I am always scared of identity theft using the debit card. |

| I can totally relate to your frustration I had my identity stole ss# and everything and they charged a 1500.00 TV at circuit cityin some other state. I did get it all back but it also put me in the hospital I was 7 month pregnant. It all worked out in the end though Im so sorry this happened to you.

| i had something similar happen, 2 different places twice each withdrew money amounting to 300.00 some $ together, called my bank and they closed my Acc. and they refunded my money. Scared the heck out of me as i am very careful when shopping online. I was told that it was possible that a merchant might of not been careful with my info.... scary !

yup! thats the one. What I don't get is, why only a $25 charge each time (attempted $25 charge I should say) Makes no sense........

Had someone attempt to use my cc # before. It was denied but the thieves did try to charge a small amount first. My bank said it's fairly common practice when someone's trying to determine whether or not an account is valid.

| So sorry to hear that happened, some people, they will try anything! I'd have all you accounts red flaged. That way anyone who uses your cards must show ID. For on-line shopping they make you come up with a code on flagged accounts. It's a pain, but it's safe.
