open your picture...Choose the CROP TOOL and crop out the pic you want in your avatar - I perfer real close ups of the yorkies face...then hit enter..... then....go to your toolbar...and click IMAGE...Size it to 75 x 75 or 125 x 125 pixels (in your case 125 cause you donated) and that should give you the right size... you can save those pics (I save the sized pics because I change out avatars) or drag them onto another pic that you sized..... Here's a tutorial on Picture Cropping...http://vkart.com/photoshoptutorials/...croptool.shtml this is for Photoshop but it uses the same Crop tool & basic way of doing it

| Thanks V!!!! You sure work fast!!! Why is it that Sony can sell me anything for my computer, but I have no idea how to use it????? LOL I guess it just takes time to learn, I was going to take a class, but Princess couldn't come with me, so I passed on it.  Too bad we don't live in Texas, I'd have a great teacher! I think the computer companies COUNT on us to be clueless so we go out and buy MORE STUFF !...the thing that sucks - it it WORKS. that's why I try to post anything free.... There are a few good programs like the Photoshop family and they're worth it...but most of our built in computer stuff is sometimes just basic programs - It may do one thing but not another....I swear - With my programs that came free...I had to crop in one program - lighten and edit in another....it was like EACH program was missing some key element ..... I'm so NOT a pro at this but I can work with pictures....I used to design & print custom brochures so HAD to learn ...there's is so many things I don't know how to do but it's always fun learning... I remember how frustrating it was so anything I can pass on...I'm more than happy to share ...If anything - to prevent YOU GUYS from using all those bad cuss words  |

SherryLynn was so super nice, she sent me a copy of Photoshop Elements 3, I found a book on line for it, and wouldn't you know it, There's NOTHING on Avatars in it! But, now give me some time, (ok a lot of time) I'm sure I'll have some cute pictures soon
