| For any of you attorneys out there... Some of you may know that I am going through a court battle to get my son out of the state and I just got an email from my attorney saying that we have a status conference, what does that mean?? We do have to go to mediation. Is that what that is?? |

| i would ask the attorney for clarification. (s)he is supossed to have the client's best interests in mind and (s)he will hopefully be able to explain things in a way you can better understand.

Donating YT 10K Club Member | The status conference is to update the judge on your case. Mediation means someone will decide what you and your ex could not...what is in the best interest of the child. Good luck....

Thank you so much Deb! I'm hoping that mediation will come before that. I just want this all to be over with. | |
