| Going to see Nickelback! At 51 will I be the OLDEST?? My daughter's 29th birthday is today and I am taking her to see Nickelback on Thursday, as that is what she wanted for her BDay. My son and my daughter are really good about keeping me up to date on current music, and I know I like Nickelback a lot. Last summer I got her tickets to see Stained and 3 Doors Down, and I was most definitely the oldest person there, LOL!! Do you think that's going to happen to me at this show? It doesn't REALLY bother me a whole lot, lol, it just makes me feel O-L-D!!!!

| Had to laugh because my mom is the same way! She's 53 years old and loves the newer bands. Nickelback is one of her faves and 3 Doors Down and many others. She laughs at me too because I'm stuck in the 70's. I love the classic rock and just can't get into the "new wave stuff". I'm 34 years old and like more of the stuff that I listened to as a younger kid that I actually heard because of her! She's always turning my daughters (ages 9 and 11) onto the new stuff - I guess someone has to, right?? But they also like all the classic stuff because I listen to it around them. My mom recently took my sister and I (for my 34th birthday present) to see Carole King's "Living Room Tour". We've always loved her and the concert was SO great! That woman is absolutely fantastic still at the age of 62! I say Enjoy the show and who cares if you're one of the oldest there??!! I bet you won't be!

Donating YT 10K Club Member | Just don't wear your hip huggers and crop top Before Dave Mathews became big time....a friend and I would go all over VA to see him. It was us....and three thousand college students at those concerts After he made it....one concert we went to....I told her...I liked his shows much better when it was just us and the 20 year olds. We still go to concerts.....the ones in small venues....that you have to stand up...shoulder to shoulder. I'm sure some of those kids think....great, go to a concert and instead of standing beside a hot chick...I got my mother Have fun

Donating YT 30K Club Member | A couple of years ago i got tickets to see Enrique Iglaisis and made my hubby come with. Well we are in our 50's and we were the only "old" people there no kidding. It was 90% hispanic teenagers. He was so mad at me. We looked so out of place. But the concert was great!!!

| Thanks for all the encouragement!! I am really looking forward to going! I will let you know how it all turns out! We are actually driving back home after. I figure the show will end about 11, and that means I won't be getting home until 1 in the morning!! YIKES! I figure we will both be so pumped that we will be squealing all the way home! Thanks again for the comments!

| Glad - just have a ball and hoop and hollar with the best of them. Your ears will be ringing for hours...it will bring back flashbacks of the heavy duty rock and roll bands....KICK OUT THE JAMS
