I agree, I named my Val Valiree,,,, to be different,,, and go with her sisters name (Desiree) And she or I have to always correct people when spelling it.

that's not bad! My husband was 3 days old when his parents finally choose a name! You'd think 9 months would have been long enough for them to decide right? They told me when he was born his parents looked at him and decided he wasn't worthy of the name Patrick (2 years later they named their next son Patrick). So they finally decided 3 days later to name him after his grandfather. So they had to deal with telling people he didn't have a name yet for 3 days! lol.

I like Aubrey Jade aka AJ. I think that would be cute.

I have an Ashley Nichole - not that that matters, just a different way to spell Nicole as an option.

Aubry Jade Nichole or Aubry Jada nichole

Don't worry about what names are popular, I picked out my daughter's name in 1999, when we first started trying, Mia Isabella was not popular then but when I finally had her in 2005 they were the two most popular names. I did not care, I loved the name and that's what counts! Of course one month before she was born we added a second middle name, Felicita (fe-lee-see-ta), after her greatgrandmother who passed away right before she was born...
My daughter's initals (first and last name) spell M.E. and of course she has one of everything with the saying "It's all about Me"...

One of my good friends' her name is Christina Rose Amodeo (CRA)
Her now husband's last name is Pisano.
She is now Christina Rose Amodeo-Pisano

Initials "CRAP"

I love the name Aubree Jayde. I am a fan of unsual spellings. Although I'm not a big fan of nicknames. I have a first cousin her name is Adria Jewell or AJ. I've never called her AJ. When I named my son his name is Ethan Pierce and I had to get onto my dad (Pierce) he wanted to call him EP. Now if anyone tries to call him by anything other than his name. He tells them that his name is Ethan Pierce Cassity. So his name is Ethan. Just my opinion. But, if you find a name that you love why shorten it with a nickname?

I like Aubrey Jayde, I love to spell things differently to be unique. My kids might hate me when they grow up though.. LOL My youngest is Jillian Mackynsie..
