| Ordering a copy of a birth certificate... they want to charge me $80!! for a copy of my sons birth certificate!!!! NO WAY! A $12 processing fee, $30 for the copy, and like $40 to ship it! WTH!!! he needs it for Kindergarten registration and i somehow cannot find his anywhere! I need to call the office tomorrow and see if its cheaper to just pick it up. 1st page says birth certificates, $15...then when I enter all the info the total was like almost $80! I about died!

| Birth certificate? Call your county's office. Ours are $10 and everything in Chicago is overtaxed and over priced.

| When I ordered one I had to send the info in writing with a self addressed self stamped envelope. They didn't charge to ship it. That price is ridiculous. |
