I've actually seen Elvis twice - once in a large concert venue and once is Las Vegas - both before he got old and fat. He was the greatest!!! Such a huge stage presence.

Yeah, tossing in your Garth and George and other country, concerts, I'd have to annoint you the concert meister. I know what you mean about bringing back memories, though. I'm amazed at all the good concerts YTers have seen. I imagine some of us have been to the same ones.

but I realized I left some great concerts off after reading other threads (Doors, Chicago, Santana, CCR). The late 60's and the early 70's were some great times if only I could remember I had a great time while my folks sat home watching Lawrence Welk I am still alot of fun to party with and love my music turned up LOUD - Kick Out The Jams.

| [QUOTE=alaskayorkie]If I knew how to do one of those bowing smilies, I would! Especially skinny Elvis and TWICE! My brother saw fat Elvis and said he was still awesome. To RowdysMom

| This was a fun walk down Memory Lane, Mike! I even asked Hubby, and he reminded me of some others! Life must be good when you can forget about how much fun you've had!!

| Donating YT 500 Club Member | Ok - I don't know how you all can remenber all of them I spent so many years (preHubby) backstage and partying with bands and stuff -at least 2-4 a month!! Its sooo hard to remember. :P Or at least admit. Here are the Most memorable. John Denver in RedRocks - 1st concert ever Beach Boys!!! Michael Jackson and the Jackson 5 (ok - I admitted it) Rod Stewart - so much fun! Billy Joel - He Rocks Wynona - Ok show but she is so sweet in person Kenny Loggins - I still sleep to his Cd's Rascal Flatts - I knew them before (and after) they made it big! And every year we have something called Country Thunder out here. Over 30 bands each weekend. I did a lot of promos and had cool DJ friends so I got to meet almost everyone playing and hang with them when they wern't playing. We did this for 5 yrs (stopped when Joey was born - Maybe start again next year)
