| Hurtful! Hello everyone! I was just on myspace and was told by a friend of a new group it is called **** the Troops! Now I understand that not everyone agrees with Bush's reasons for war or even the war in general, but my husband is fighting in this war and is gone right now and I am very up set by this! I think that no matter what everyone should support those how fight for there everyday freedoms! This is very hurtful so for those of you who have a myspace and feel the way that I do please let them know! Thank for listening to me vent!

| I'm with you! I think that is just awful!!! Just so you know, I really appreciate your husband and all of the troops fighting for our freedom. I'm so sorry that you have been hurt by this. It hurts me too. I certainly don't want to get into a political debate, as I'm sure you don't either, but all I can say is "America... love it or leave it!"

| Now that is just wrong, no matter how you feel about this Administration..these troops are over there fighting for our lives...they are in a foreign country in harms way...We all should support them regardless...they are doing their job..and it is Protecting US!

| Well, I am truly sorry that you had to see that group and that it was even made. That's awful, careless and in poor taste. I personally am not for any war whatsoever for any reason and I feel like the troops are fighting for their lives and not mine in this war, but I totally respect them. Someone recently asked me this question: If you are talking to someone and find out that they are currenly in the armed forces or served previously, do you respect them more? -- my answer to that is yes, I do.

| As you best friend ever it makes me angry that there would be a group with that name on myspace at all. But there are a lot of things on myspace that make me upset anymore. Anyway, I'll send them some hate mail for sure sister! Love ya always! And no matter what your views on this war are, these soldiers are over there risking everything so that you can continue to live the way we do here. Just remember that. Any person man or woman serving in our armed forces deserves nothing but the most respect and gratitude we could give them..

| I Hate Dumb People I hate people like that!!.. I think everyone who dose not support the troops should be sent to EVERY place we are fighting, to see how it is over there. My husbands in the army and we are in Germany right now. Yeah there are a few people over here that dont like us, But the a lot here that are Thankful for what the US did for them. I hate DUMB people, I think the only person who would even go that low to even say $hit like that, is just to get a fire started and they cant STAND all the people who are supporting them. My space should be SHUT down for letting them do that on there! if that got to the papers or news that, that was there!! It would SOO be shut down, scents EVERYONE is supporting them but them. |

| I do not visit my space, so this is the first I am hearing of this. While I do feel it is wrong, I am not surprised. While freedom of speech is a wonderful thing, it also allows for things like this. We as Americans are very opinionated people (I am not saying this in a negative way as I sure am one of them) and therefore for every single issue there are always people on both sides of the fence. Many times people jump on one side of the fence just to drive the arguments and gain attention and this is probably one of those times. I come from a very large Air Force family (both grandfathers, father, mother, step-mother, step-brother, and brother) and therefore have the utmost respect for all servicemen and women as well as their families. My brother is currently in Iraq and it is not an easy thing to deal with.....hearing stuff like this only makes it harder. Do not let these idiots upset you though. You know in your heart that their statements have no truth in them and you are dealing with enough already. Use your energy to stay strong for you, your husband, and your family and start planning the biggest welcome home party the nation has ever seen as one day all of our troops will be coming home!

| While it could stir up some emotion in others, as military families of course we are extra hurt by this... Just the other day I saw a man standing by the side of the road holding a sign against the war and kind of slamming our troops. I understand it is his freedom of speech, but it still hurts... My husband will be over there again in a few weeks... and I wish everybody would support them, despite of their feeling on the war...

| Thank you everyone! I just wanted to say that I was not posting the thread to stir up trouble, but I was really upset I think that some people take freedom of speech way to far and they do it to hurt people! I just think it is so funny how those people who protest say we needed to turn the other cheek, but I bet if I walked up and punched them dead in the face THEY wouldn't turn the other cheek! Anyway just thanks for all the support I knew I could count on you guys to support the troops!

| I'm currently dating someone who was previously in the Air Force for four years, so I can totally understand how this would upset y'all. It upsets me as well. My first thought was "what the heck? what's wrong with people?" I like Bush, I don't agree with all of his policies and I don't agree with this war. But just because people don't like a certain attribute of someone and whatnot, does not mean that they should go out and make a blog about to share their dislike. It's just low class and disrespectful. I come from a family of men who have been in the armed forces. My grandpa, My uncles(one died in the Vietnam war), My little brother(served for a year, 21 yrs old). I think we owe them the deepest respect possible. each and every day these people are dieing for us. I'm honored to know these people and be a part of this contry.

| That's just not right. I'm very sorry you had to read something like that. I don't go on My Space, so I really can't post anything there for you. It's so sad people can place things like that on the net. I think if this new group thought long enough, they would think of someone they know over there, and just what a bad post it was, if not, they need to get a life. We keep all of our Troops in our Thoughts and Prayers. May your husband return home safe, and very soon. My heart goes out to you. And again, I'm very sorry, this world has some very mean people in it, this has always been sad, but true. We were always told, "It is not what others can do for you that counts, It's what you can do for others. Hmmmm maybe someone should tell them that.

| Please don't take it personally. There are some stupid, ignorant people in this world. The majority of us, no matter how we feel about the war, are greatful for those who are serving. What your husband is doing is a wonderful thing. We are thankful for it, and remember the soldiers in our prayers.

| I have never heard of my space but I will tell you this............ These men and women fighting no matter where they are , are indeed fighting for freedom. It is not up to us to judge as that is for the man above to do. These people who risk their all and their families who worry every minute of everyday deserve our utmost RESPECT. I would like to think all those who are fighting and their families and say THANKS for everything. May God Bless each and everyone of you. Your sacrifices are great and greatly appreciated. |
