Please give me your honest opinion on this GSD painting

I think it's real good but I have no talent or experience in art. The only thing i see is the neck could maybe use more definition

You are really branching out from Yorkies! Beautiful!

I was thinking the light brown on the brows and nose could use a little narrowing in places, and agree with Patti on the neck. Remember you asked!!

However, if it were my dog, I would be plenty pleased with your painting just the way it IS!!

I like the texture. How did you do that? I mean is that canvas and did you use a medium in your paint? Or is that like weird art paper?
I think the painting looks good and I really like that frame!

I used some fresco mud on the canvas and dabbled around until the texture looked just right. I finished with Krylon gloss and it really brings out the texture! My hubby asked what kind of paint I used LOL and I told him the same. The camera doesn't show the detail I would have liked. Here is another shot that shows more detail but the flash is too much for the gloss coating. I wish you could see it in person. I'm working on a landscape painting tommorow!! I'm really excited!

wow, I think you did an amazing job!!!! I have to check out some of your other work too! I could not imagine what it would look like if I tried to paint!!!!!! That would almost make anyone laugh!!

Weeellll if you want honesty... I love them both,the horse is my favorite though. Probably because I still miss the farm we moved from 4 years ago. Still waiting to see the the pictures I sent to you on canvas...

Thanks so much! I love both both of your websites!! I really like the hats and gloves dress! They are really nice and wow all the bows. I still have the 2 I bought in November. They have held up great!
