| How to get a 10 month old to stop spitting (Part 2) After many failed attempts, I finally figured out how to get my HUMAN baby, Mia, to stop spitting. As a last resort, I pulled out all of the info that the dog trainer gave me on training Gracie , I figured that it could not hurt to try them on a human baby... the can of pennies worked like a charm! She spit at me during lunch today and I shook that can with all my might. She stopped cold, hung a lip and cried , and she has not spit out her food since. She sits there now, eating her food, all the while looking at the can through the corner of her eye... Dinner was pleasant for the first time in a long time! I carried the can with me for pretty much the rest of the day, she would go to spit and look to see if I was watching, and I was. I am happy to report that since the first shake of the can we have been spit free!!!! Now if I could only get her to stay still while changing her diaper....

| Congratulations and good job, Mom!!! My "knee jerk" reaction was spank her little bottom and then remembered, you can't do that anymore!!

| I might try the can thing with mine doing her temper tantrums and she's only 9 months. She screams sooo loud! Naughty!! Good job on curbing the spitting, mine use to do that, and I'd stop feeding her, then try again later...
