| Kirby Puckett Passed On... Today is a sad day for me... I don't know how many of you are baseball fans but to Minnesota, Kirby Puckett was one of the greatest of all times. When I was a little girl I used to watch the game just for Kirby. During the '91 world series I stayed up late to watch the last game in the series but then I fell asleep, I believe the game was on West Coast time so it ran very late... However, I woke up just in time in the last inning to see that we won and how the crowd EXPLODED with happiness!!! Kirby Puckett was our hero! Of course there were others on the team who made it happen but he stuck out as the brightest star... I just want to share with you all how much he meant to me as a baseball player and as a regular joe off the street. His personal life was not perfect... I just think of him only as the best Minnesota Twins player to grace our Metrodome. May you find peace and blessings Mr. Puckett...

| Yes I heard about his passing this morning also along with Dana Reeve. He was so young also - I heard about his stroke yesterday but didn't hear how bad off he was!! |

| Yes I kept abreast of it as much as possible yesterday, as it went from stroke, to not knowing his status, to going critical, and then this morning I get to work and see he passed... So very, very sad.

| Minnesota is our greatest rival, but that's just one more reason why I respect Kirby so much. RIP

| I also heard this this morning with the passing of Dana Reeve and it's a sad day indeed. I am a huge Minnesota Baseball fan and am deeply saddened by this news.
