| nutro food questin for dobermans This is a general question about nutro natural puppy food. My cousin has a 4 month old doberman puppy and the guy at pet smart told her to ask her vet about feeding her dog nutro puppy because it makes big dogs have growth spurts and gorw to fast and isnt that good for them!!! I told her I have never heard of such a thing but I am sure someone on here would maybe know if this is a myth so please any info would be appreciated since she is very upset now thinking she has done the wrong thing....thanks ahead

| Nope, not true. My Uncle is a rep for Nutro and Nutro is dog food, for all dogs! He feeds his Austrian Shepard Nutro and has feed it to him since he was born. His dog is the most healthy looking dog I have ever seen! My neighbors have 2 dobermans and they feed them Nutro. No odd growth spurts! I think that guy did not know what he was talking about! I wish your cousin lots of luck and happiness with her new pup! What a good cousin you are for inquiring about this for her!

| Nurto puppy food I had a Doberman and I switched her the Nutro Natural dog food because of all the great things I've heard about it. Believe it or not, she was less gassy, she had less body odor, and her coat was like gloss! Great Dogfood! I now feed it to my Aussie "Heaven", I always get complements on how beautiful she is! I have never heard of it causing growth problems. I think that most puppies have funny growth stages anyway (front end a little taller than the back) but, most of the time everything catches up and evens out! Good luck, Amy www.twinkletoesgrooming.com Last edited by twinkletoes; 03-04-2006 at 06:05 PM. |
