Deb..I was raised Baptist, still most of my mothers family are Baptist...things have greatly changed in both demoninations over the decades, at least we can live our conscience now..eating was always allowed so we ate!!!

You know the reason Baptist do not have sex standing up?..they are afraid someone will think they are dancing.

I remember when Jimmy Carter said he had lusted in his heart....our preacher at the time did a whole sermon on this topic....I didn't think it was a bad thing Jimmy did, but apparently you'd better NOT admit it.

I am not really a practicing Baptist, as an adult I've spent more time in the Methodist church. They do observe Ash Wednesday....I've hosed up my heaven's chances AGAIN....LOL.

Our family we'll have Filet-o-fishes for dinner tonight. I'm still at work (few minutes to go) and it will be too late to cook something. I won't be giving anything up since I just had a Dr. Appt and am a new member of the High Cholesterol and Diabetic club. So there's a whole lot I've already given up
