There's no way I would move. All that packing!!!!   My husband wated to move, but I told him no, so he built up. Now my house is so big, it would be a pain to move, so I guess I'm here forever. The big thing now is what do we do outside, he wants Queen Palms, I want green grass & roses. |

This is how it works...if you don't care if someone takes it or not...it's gone in 3 seconds flat....if you want someone to take it... that sucker will sit there for 3 weeks. Add to my men know better list.... We put out some attic stairs, and a sink for the BIG city trash people to pick up....Mr. Brillant puts a notice on the door...you have to call 24 hours ahead if you want it picked up....lug it all into the back....call the next week....gal on the phone says we don't pick up that stuff  |

Ok, here's a duplicate post of something I'm pretty certain I've shared. Grandma's house is close to the naval bases and a college (ODU, btw, Heather....her sister's going there)....any way these people would constantly move out around her and just leave everything. She brought home a huge, abstract painting....in blues, pinks, purples.....in the center of this lovely was a giant p-nis...I am not kidding. My little brother and I would look at it and laugh our heads off. My mother even knew it was a you know what....she was NOT amused that we constantly pointed it out. I don't think Grandma realized it was there, but we always wondered what the church ladies thought, who visited her, of it. When she moved into a retirement home, baby bro, took it home....just cause he thought it was a riot. Hmmmmm, has just occurred to me....his wife doesn't have it hanging any where in their home. I am gonna have to call her 'bout that.....cause it's a family heirloom, dang gumit. Btw, Grandma was tiny...maybe 4'9"....bet her neighbor's used to watch her little butt lugging home all this junk...thinking...yep, there's Mert, digging through the trash again  |
