How are you at going to the dentist???

One day we were talking about dentists and I told her how much I hated to go them. With a dead serious look on her face, she said to me with her slow drawl "Why Sherry Lynn, you need to do what I do when I go to the dentist. I sit back in that chair, reach over and grab his privates, look him dead in the eye and say 'Now we aren't going to hurt each other are we?'....And I've never had a problem at the dentists

I laughed SO HARD!!!! It was SO out of character for her and SO funny!! Now everytime I even think about a dentist, I chuckle! That little story has gotten me through so many visits to the dentist that it is priceless to me

Now that is hilarious!!!! Could you just imagine doing this??!!

My dentist is a friend of mine. She knows I HATE going so she is always really careful with me. Usually we both get laughing so hard she has to tell me to shut up so she can work on me! What I really hate it the hygentist. At least the Dentist gives you novacaine!

Last month I went to a new dentist and am having laser dentistry done. I love it, no pain!!!!

I have heard of laser dentistry but not of anyone whos had it done.
Please keep us informed of how it goes as this is maybe an option for me

I have decided this is the year i WILL conquer this fear.
I have been frightened for 16 years now and enough is enough.
This is gonna be my year to get that and many other things in my life into some sort of order.

lmao...leave it to kimb to love going to the dentist! i haaaaate the dentist. i get severe anxiety and usually have to take a xanax so that my jaw [and myself] can actually relax. i get super tense. its really my own fault though, because i always wait until the pain is unbearable before i go, so im super scared. i can deal with the cleanings, just not the root canals.
