Congratulations!! I got engaged in September & am planning an October 2006 wedding. My only advice is to plan it the way you & your fiance want - don't let others get too pushy!! It's your day & make sure you have fun planning!! Good luck!

Well, he is not a romantic type of guy, but he is spontainous (sp?). We were in the car going to meet some friend to play pool with on Saturday night, and he asked me in the car. I think he was trying all last week to ask me and just finally got the courage to do, and it just so happened to be the car. But I did not care were or how, just knowing that he wants to marry me made my day.

Sometimes it takes a LOT of courage to get a guy to ask!! I actually asked my husband to marry me in August, and he said "can I tell you on October 31st? " I thought for a second and said, "Honey, you do realize that's HALLOWEEN, don't you?" And he said, "Exactly!! This idea SCARES me to DEATH!!" And you know what? He made me WAIT until Halloween before he said he would marry me!! LOLOL!!

Congrats again! Pretty exciting!

Congrats! How very exciting for you. I wouldn't stress out too much about the wedding details. My husband and I were just married on 12/26/05 and he only proposed to me on 12/19/05 and our wedding was big and formal and fabulous with only 6 days to plan!!

Oh, and you have to have Rocky in the wedding, how can you get married without your kid in the wedding?

OMG!!! I bet you were freaking out! I know I would have been. My BF actually told my family at Christmas and had been talking to my sis about it since then that he was going to ask me. I guess he was just a little nervous.

LOL, my poor hubby was nervous as heck, and it looks like your BF was too!! Good thing he had your family to chat with about it!

And yeah, I was nervous at the Halloween dinner table right up to the moment when he ordered the champagne!! I figured he was either going to say "yes" or he was getting me drunk so he could let me down easy, LOLOL!!!

On our honeymoon, he had the nerve to say, "If I had known that being marriend would be this much fun, I would have asked you myself a couple years ago!" HAHAHAHAHA

At my friend's wedding, the flower girl walked the "ring bearer" down the aisle on his little leash, and he was a yorkie! It was soooo cute and it worked perfectly!

Congrats on your new engagement! That's really really exciting!

Congratulations! Make sure you post pics of you and your husband-to-be! And Rocky HAS to be in the wedding, tell him that the wedding is for you and ideally you will only have ONE wedding in your life it should be the way you want it. If he still disagrees It's time to turn into....

Congratulations, you will have lots of fun planning. I just got married last June and I had a whole year to plan. I thought I had everything done until the day before the wedding and then I realized I still had to buy gifts for everyone that was in the wedding needless to say I had to take a few nerve pills that day!
