I love it also. I Tivo it every week. I thought the older women made a big mistake last week. And I defiently think the cig. guy is wanting out tonight. (at least that is what the previews made you think) The younger girls have been pretty weak so far. The older guys except for the one seem very fit and smart. I am anxious to see how far that will take them.

I'll be watching!! It was that comment she made that did her in!! (lumber jack women)!! Did you see the Tennessee girl turn her head when she said what she said?!?!?!?!? I so agree though that they should have kept her!! You don't like leaves and you are going to sign up for this - how did she get in? I know myself better than that I couldn't be left ALONE like that - that's enough to make me not want to do it!! And I love camping and stuff like that but you won't find me on survivor!! Can't wait for tonight - my husband just called me from the living room and wants me to make popcorn for when we watch it!! He soooooo wants to be on it!!

Hey, what about the previews when the tatooed old guy who smokes makes the comment about the island being something like bad luck and immediately something hits him?? LOL LOL LOL I laughed so hard. He's getting moody about his lack of smokes! LOL I love those 2 older guys that are ex-fighter pilot and ex-astronaunt!!!!!! I hoping that crazy old guy that whacks the machete wins. He looks Filipino, and I'm part Filipino, but I look adopted!! I'm blonde and green eyes. The rest of my family is Dark hair and eyes and skin.
Who do you guys want to win???

I've never watched survivor - never been able to get into the reality stuff. I know lots of people who are HOOKED though!

They are sooooo gonna wish they voted out Shane. He is getting on my nerves! He never shuts up!!!!

I wonder if that guy found the idol on the island? He was there 3 days alone and they only showed him for a few minutes, that seems fishy to me.

I wondered the same thing myself! Guess we'll find out if his tribe makes it to the next tribal council and he's voted off then...uh-oh, look what I have!

Shane should have been voted off tonight. I told my boys that if I had been there, when he started in with the whining, "I miss my boy (hey, don't get me wrong, I'd miss mine too!), I need a smoke" routine, it would have been time to go and I would have written his name down with pleasure. I think if his tribe goes to tribal council again, he won't be so lucky again.

If I were Shane's son, I wouldn't think my Dad was "heroic" for leaving Survivor because he missed me......I'd be proud of him for STAYING!! Don't you think he'd think of that?........

I think he wants to leave because he wants a CIGARETTE not because he misses his son. I mean, really, 3 packs a day? Good grief! You think he would have made an effort to quit or at least cut down before he left for the show, don't you think?

Bruce has got to be one of the coolest characters, in my opinion. I really like him and the astronaut guy the best! I feel bad for Bruce though because he's stuck on the tribe with all the turmoil. He could quickly become the new leader, IMO. He's so smart and strong. And yeah, what about them not showing much about him this week?! He could have found the idol indeed!!!

I like Bruce also.

Have you read his Bio on the Survivor homepage?? He's a teacher, but also was named highest level blackbelt in Shotokan Karate in America.(I'm an Orange Belt in Shotokan) Very cool! And has been a judge in Karate comps. I'm really hoping to get to see more of him! 'm hoping cig guy flakes out next week. As it stands now, the numbers arn't with Bruce. dangit!

btw....someone was wondering his nationality...he's 3rd generation Japanese American.

My x husband quit smoking cold turkey for 2 years on a dare and he was smoking 3 packs a day at the time.. it can be done. Shane just needs to suck it up!
Did ya'll ketch how he was hitting on the girls the second they merged tribes. It made me so sick!

There are so many strong personalities on this season, it's gonna be fun!!!

I was definitely pulling for Shane to get the boot.....I thought the girls would turn the other way since they said that he was such a nut and didn't know how reliable he would be...I bet this coming week will be different on that team with Bruce joining in. I missed the very first show, so I am still not familiar with all of the players yet. I sure thought that Bruce was a goner when he was the only one left there, but I think he got the good end of that one! - I wonder why they didn't show him throughout the show?
