| My daughter has fever and two days in a row has had a nose bleed but tonight her nose bleed was terrible, and she brought up 2 handfuls of blood when she threw up, and every time she coughed the blood would just fly out, i phoned the hospital and they told me just to phone a health line, does anyone know why this is happening????????? Please help!

| Man, I sure would take her to the emergency room right away. A nose bleed is different than throwing up all that blood.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Is teh throwing up blood because she is swallowing the blood from her nosebleed. Do you have any Acute Care clinics? I would take her in.

| I work at a doctors office and I would take her in. Generally nose bleeds can come from the dryness in the air. The vomiting worries me, unless she did swallow a lot of blood and it upset her stomach enough to vomit. For peace of mine I would have her looked at.

| well i took sydney to the hospital, and the doctor did say he thought as well the dry air would cause her nose to bleed and to put vaseline in her nose to keep it moist, as for the fever he said to leave her for today and if the fever was not gone to bring her back for chest xrays, so thank you for all your advice, oh yes and the reason why she threw up all that blood was due to the fact that she had swallowed so much blood. so we get out of the hospital get to the car i get around the back end to get to the passenger side and it was one sheet of ice my knee buckled and i was going down as i fell i land on my wrist and something in my right ankle snapped or made a poppong sound oh man i tell you the pain wow! my husband seems to think that its just some pulled ligaments, because the swelling is behind my ankle, i have no idea, but a wise person would have stoppped and went back in.......hello! LOL! ok i said a wise person, so i will see what today brings, thank you to everyone once a again for there responses, it made a scarey thing not so bad!!! by the way my little guys are doing simply awseome, they move around their box like crazy, and they now weigh 9 ozs so i am thinking mommy has a lot of great milk for them! they weighed 4 oz at birth.

| I am glad she is doing okay. My kids used to get a lot of bloody noses from the dry climate. We used Polysporin up their noses. Lately it has been so dry here I have even used it. Sorry about your ankle. Legiments can take a long time to heal, so take it easy for awhile.

| Glad to hear your daughter is alright So happy you brought her in to get looked at but I would keep an eye on that fever. Mom's can do things like you did when they are worried about their children and hurrying but the ice didn't help did it!! Take Care.
