A Little Up Tight Kristy I know, just let me have my coffee in peace!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D |
Hmmmm....I don't have too many but these 2 people in the Supermarket that are obvious to other shoppers - they either crowd you....or they leave their Carriage right in the middle of the aisles and stand there staring at stuff on the shelves and you have to stand there waiting for them to MOVE Driving down a major street going the SPEED LIMIT with no one ahead of you or behind you .....and a Car just HAS TO PULL out in front of you. THAT drives me NUTS |
Lol! Reading these posts has taken my mind off Gage for at least a little bit, so thank you! As for my pet peeves, here are just a few: 1. Tailgaters - I can't STAND this!! I usually piss them off by pulling over in the left lane if they try to pass, then back over in the right lane, or, I let them pass then ride behind with my brights on for just a few seconds. Unless you have your emergency flashers on and lights flashing, you aren't in that big of a hurry to get where you're going to jepordize your life and mine!! 2. Elevators - people who stand right in front of the door and won't move out of the way while others are trying to get off. Stand to the side, let those riders off, then get on - a little courtesy and respect would be nice! 3. My mother-in-law - for thinking her kids (especially my husband - we live closer to her) "owe" her for her being the one to give them life and raise them (and by owe, I mean give her money every time we turn around). There is more I could say but I don't think there's enough room to post it all. 4. Attention getters - don't think I need to say more here! 5. Fashion puppy seekers - and I don't think I need to say more here either! I have more but will stop to allow others to post theirs. Again, thanks for sharing - great thread! Suzi |
I so agree with you all, about people who stand in the middle of PUBLIC walkways, then when you try to wedge your way around them they act like you are inconveniencing THEM,, or you wait and say " excuse me." and you get the ol " hhhhhuuuu" from them.. I usually just slam my cart into theirs,,and say "Oh, Im sooo sorry." and keep going.. Or the ones that leave their cart in the runway, and they are about half way down the isle... Clueless, with their purse and god knows what else, just laying there in their cart for anyone to take. |
One of my peves is when my significant other cant find something .. and rude behaviors ..sometimes my own ... |
1. People on cell phones at inappropriate times: movies, during a meal, first thing in the morning on my way to work when everyone is catching naps or reading a paper and it is dead quiet but we all know that your brother's baby's mother is a deadbeat. UGH! 2. Self-centered people: that works my nerve to no end. THE WORLD DOES NOT REVOLVE AROUND YOU 24/7! 3. When people of a certain GIRTH try to fit their fat *ss next to me on the subway! THERE IS NO MORE ROOM NOW GET OFF MY THIGH!!! Just because I am a size 4/6 gives you no right to cut of circulation to my legs! Then again maybe they just don't feel me under there but damn get a clue. If no one is sitting there its because there is NO ROOM! 4. Rude service: Look we all have a choice.. You DO NOT have to work in the service industry. So if you do, learn to kiss butt or get out! I don't appreciate you taking your bad day out on me: All I want is for you to tell me this shirt looks cute and MEAN IT so I will buy it, tell me that you will modify my picky order with things on the side and meat cooked to my specifications with a smile and MEAN IT, and next time I say I want the fry box filled to the top like the picture in a #2 meal, DO IT with no attitude. lol Thank you! :) ( I used to be a Customer Service manager for Target Headquaters. Basically when you call Target 800#, if one of our CS associates could not help you, you would come to me and I, with a smile that I meant, would do my best to make you happy and ensure our associates make you happy and you come back to shop at Target. LOVED that job!) 5. People who let their job titles get to their heads: The people you step on to get there will be the same people who won't work for you, will tear you down back off that ladder, and will remember to not assist you if ever really need them. 6. Ghetto mentatlity uneducated minors: I am so SICK of listening to them on the train. These are pre-teen and teenagers, worried about who slept with who, how they are going to get kicked out of "skeew" because of their grades, and how they going to beat that b*tch or n-word up for "dis-ra-spectin" them. SHUT THE HELL UP! Those of us with jobs and an education are not interested in the life of times of the INTENTIONAL ignorant youth. Being born poor to uneducated parents is not an excuse to continue the cycle. :thumbdown Thanks for letting me get that out! :D |

Had to log back on for this one Ma and Pa just reminded me of one. In a restaurant last week and the poor waitress had to come back for an order at the next table at least three times. Unless she was talking to the emergency ward, tell me what could be that important, that she couldn't stop talking for a few minutes. Just plain rude. :thumbdown |

You all have mentioned so many of mine already. The worst offenders: Stupidity People who can obviously go to the bank, grocery store etc. At other times then Saturday afternoon or after people have gotten out of work. I don't have time be behind someone who is just their becuase they have nothing better to do. People who are walking in front of you then just stop short and stand there. Move to the side. People who have to beat you at the traffic light only to go 2 miles an hour. Stupidity Anything not picked up, made, put in its place or cleaned up. (No I really am not anal ;) ) People who don't proof reports and submit them anyway. Did I say stupidity People who constantly crictize others without looking at themselves. |

Hmmmm, couple come to mind immediately If someone drives over to my house, hubby's home, and I'm not...and they chose to park in the driveway ( in my spot) instead of parking on the street. Just park on the street, what do they think....I'm NOT coming home? It's a stupid pet peeve but it irks me to no end. Another is people who think because your door's open, they can just walk in your house. Ring the bell, please, you have no clue if I'm in the shower, sleeping, or doing housework nude,(ok so that's usually NOT the reason....I may be nude but not doing housework ;) ) or maybe, just maybe I didn't want you to come in. People who've "quit" smoking but smoke yours. Yeah, they quit alright...buying them that is Last one... for those persons in my house who think it is OK to drink any beverage from the container....if there is more than 1/2 inch left, POUR it into a glass. Thank you. Ok, there, I've said it and now sound like witchest person on the street...it's a wonder I have any friends  PS...Disclaimer....I have never confronted anyone guilty of the first three pet peeves on this list....cause I am NICE (or chicken, can't figure out which, maybe a nice chicken) The last one I repeat frequently to no avail....goes in one ear and out the other. |
