I got an invite from some kid a while back. I started talking to him because I never know when it's an old friend or if someone has changed their SN. He insisted I was using his cousin Sarah's account. My SN has my name in it, and it's sure as heck not Sarah. He ended up going on and on about why am I on his cousin's SN, who am I, etc. I can't tell you how many times he IMs me now and is like "hi Sarah." I started just replying "Still not Sarah..." I guess I should just learn to not accept the invites! :rolleyes:

you can ignore him.......Well i found out who it was but its still a petpeeve when they dont tell you..theres all this stuff going around like viruses and all this stuff. They need to have the decensy to tell you who the hell they are.. :mad:

I don't respond to IM's from people I don't know, period. Another board I'm on, you can click and IM anyone else on that board. I've never just randomly sent someone an IM. It always startles me when someone does it to me.

No!! I do have a cell phone and I actually do use it a lot, but very discreetly and like centralnewyorki said, texting is a good option too!

I just think people are too loud on them and also I hate seeing groups of people out together on a Saturday night and instead of interacting with each other, they are all their phone :confused: What is the purpose of that...can you tell cell phones bug me?????

I can just see Megan: "Hang on, Mom. I'll brb." and "That brother of mine is such a pain. LOL, j/k!" :p I used to work with a girl who talked like that. She was a senior in high school and too cute; before her I didn't know people actually said "wtf", "j/k" and "brb" in a real live conversation!

I so don't, thats another pet peeve of mine.

When someone does that to me I want to strangle them. have a nice day. :D

LOL !!!! Nope NOT Megan and I have a hard time seeing her say BRB Mom - but then again - maybe I don't ? :D

I would love to hear if she's ever said ROTF when she's amused - now THAT would crack me up
