I've loved reading all these responses! I'm currently launching my own online business (home decor and gifts, mainly for holidays). I'm also an Avon/Mark representative and have been for a year now. I enjoy working from home, gives me the benefit of being with Isabella all the time and watching her grow. :)

oh wow i am almost too embarrassed to post what i do...........for the most part just recently i am a stay at home mom to 3 wonderful human kids and to 3 furkids and 2 grand fur kids (not bad only 33)!! and the 2 days a week i work at a donut shop in town, to get some adult time and supplement the bills!

Currently I manage my husband's dental practice (we have two offices) and I am an attorney by profession so I also do that on the side...when I get interesting cases....lol.....I have been practicing law since 1984, I was a partner in a general civil litigation firm until moving to San Diego 5 years ago and I have practiced family law, real estate, contracts, entertainment law (I was a children's talent agent when my kids were younger) wills and trusts, personal injury and now dental law...

I work from home most of the time and love my work. I do a lot of pro bono work for charities like the local woman's shelter and the humane society and I am on the Board for my daughter's middle school foundation. I am the philanthropy liason for the National Charity league chapter in my area for the San Diego Youth and Communiy Services who provide assistance to homeless teens in the San Diego area.

I have four teenage children and my life is very full!! To say the least!!! But my yorkies have made it even richer!! I feel so blessed.....most days....anyway...lol :D

Before I quit my job to raise babies, I managed a mental health clinic. Now I work weekends at the same office doing their medical billing and financial stuff. During the week I sew and sell dog clothes on ebay while I get to be a stay at home mommy to my two wonderful sons and our house full of pets.

The world is made up of all types of people to make it turn everyday! I am an asst. Mgr of a Blockbuster Video and love it (6 1/2yrs). I also just finished working Canada's Election this month. I have a husband to look after who is doing his Masters in Admin and works full time, a 3yr old son and 2 furbabies. So I am busy and when my husband is done school it will be my turn and I'm hoping to be a teachers assistant for hearing impaired. :)

I have a home daycare. It is good at times and other times VERY stressful. I am looking to get out of it by December. Im working on a couple online business ideas and ventures so hopefully that will work out for me. I have 2 kids so the daycare is ok so I can stay home and still make pretty good money but like everything else i just want out of it. I love my own kids but some peoples children just about take me over the edge! :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

Before this I was a dental assistant in a endodontics office (root cananls) but got pg and daycare was going to kill me in Springfield Missouri for 2 kids so we moved back to our home town here in kansas and i opened up my daycare.

I work at a Animal Hospital at the E.R . I supervise the little ones that have had major surgeries .

I am a hydrogeologist at a small environmental consulting firm. I do investigations of soil and groundwater contamination and clean up contaminated sites. I also work to help hazardous waste generators stay in compliance witht the laws. I am a geologist by training. The job has its hassles but it is a good mix of office and field work, which is good. Another good thing about my job is that I can work from home when I feel like it and Edie can come to the office with me. :aimeeyork

My husband and I own a full service dental laboratory. Our lab is attached to our home so we are both blessed to be home all day. This allows me to be with my fur kids all day. Love it!!! :aimeeyork

:luvu: I use to be a tool maker grinder specialist a very unconventional girls job ..for 20 years in northwestern PA then I decieded to move to New Jersey and went to work at something I loved instead of something for the money ..so to speak It was working for a ARt school as a bookeeper / manager of the buliding ..hahaha /anything they needed multi tasker ,I simply love Artist /art and people so I truly loved my job .Then one year ago to today i got sick out of no where ..it was a lung disease and I was told I wouldnt be able to work anymore .It was a hard adjustment ..but I am coping well now and Mini has helped fill my days Oh and my lungs are improving I am currently being evaluated for a lung transplant @ Columbia Hospital in NYC And the good news is ..I might not need a transplant , So ..keeping my thoughts good and my hopes high
and as a gentle reminder for all of you ..Breath ...its a wonderful gift . :Puppy:

I am a stay at home mom. I love it! I love being able to see my daughter grow up and hit these wonderful milestones! The simple things it's beautiful! Eventually though, I will be going back to college to finish a degree... Was Criminal Justice, but think I'm going to go back to be a School Counselor.
