I'm a covert CIA Agent....oops, not anymore. LOL CPA so totally boring individual here. |
Ive been a stay at home mom for almost 7 years now! I worked 4 years in a day care...then i worked as a medical secretary for a few years. My youngest is home 3 days a week, so Im still here for him. I try to stay active in my 1st graders school. My youngest will start kindergarten in august, and I will have to go back to work. I really need to go now..but not just to pay for chid care. It scares me! I wish to god I could work from home, data entry or something like that, but that is SO hard to find! But anyway..Im a stay at home mom! |
I run a Skin Care Center for a Plastic Surgeon in Louisville, Kentucky. Joy |
I am a stay at home mom and Sales Director with Mary Kay. I really enjoy being able to be home with my kids, but sometimes I do wish that I worked outside of the home. Sometimes that kids can get a little stressful especially in light of the whole moving situation right now... |
I'm a producer for a local CBS affiliate. Lots of exciting days! The bad things is that I can never take lunch breaks... |
I teach Professional Development at an Engineering College (Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute). I teach sophomore and senior students communication, ethics, organizational culture, MBTI, team skills, etc. I teach required courses so they aren't always excited about class :) I teach Tuesday and Wed. and the other days do training for faculty/staff and student clubs! Before this I taught Public Speaking, Gender Communication and Interpersonal Communication at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Before that I was an aesthetician (licensed in the state of AK) in a salon doing make-up, facials, pedicures/manicures, and body waxing. |
Another nurse here! I am currently the VP of Clinical Services for a small chain of nursing homes, I specialize in Quality Improvement and am working on certification for Legal Medical Consultant. I love working with my elderly residents,....lol, I went into nursing home work for a break from the hospital where I worked on cardiac and dialysis unit. It definitely hasn't been a break but I do enjoy it most of the time...except when the government continues to tamper with things saying they are making it better! Biggest joke of the century! Anyway, I also dabble in Mary Kay. I used to be more active but since I have started traveling so much I don't get a chance to do much with it anymore. |
OK I think I have the worst job! I am a manager at a local gas station here in town!!! :( I do have fun working there though b/c it is such a small town everyone knows everyone! Before I got preggo I was going to school for nuclear medicine but the school sucked!!! So I am thinking about taking Medical Transcription online so I don't have to worry about a babysitter for my baby! Does anyone know anything about medical transcription? |

That is awesome!!! Thanks for the info! :D |
I'm a civil engineering technician... which isn't as awesome as it sounds! I just spent 8 months working for a consulting firm, going out to construction sites and testing concrete and soil densities and doing specialized lab testing. It's strenuous and definitely not fun :( I'm back at school now to be a technologist after 12 months, and then I hope I can head back for 2 years to get a civil engineering degree and have an office job! :D |
I used to work at a gas station and i love it and here in KC i now the managers make very decent money! |

I am the mom to a wonderful human daughter and one fuzzy one and I am an artist.I work at home in a studio.I love what I do but sometimes I crave being around people.I am also the artist in residence in a local business in my town. What this means is I go to the shop which happens to have 15ft windows on a corner thus GREAT light and work on my paintings. If anyone should want to talk about what I am doing or ask questions I am available.I love doing this. When not painting I sit on the Advisory Board of Directors of the School of the Arts at our local university and facilitate dicussion groups for a group called Conversations on Race. |
I was a Director of a group Health Claims Department for an Insurance company for 33 years until they eliminated my position last year. New management called me in 1 day and said your position has been eliminated and you will be retiring at the end of the month (2 weeks away). I was 52 years old! So I have been enjoying my retirement butmy income was cut to literally 1/4 of what I was making. But I love not working and I can always get a job when I need to. |
