I have a Westie, but it is a Male and only 9 months old. There is a forum for Westie owners like this one, but not as active. The web address is: www.crazyaboutwesties.com I don't know if anyone there can help you. I know my breeder has a website, but I don't remember what it is. I will try to find it. I didn't meet her. My daughter and I bought Duffy for my husband for Father's day and my daughter met the breeder and bought him. It was two ladies who were breeders. I have the information at home.

Westies are great little dogs. Is your friend going to sell them? They don't bring quite as much as Yorkies in this part of the country, but almost. My daughter and I gave more than they normally sell for, but the breeder was excellent and had good dogs.

Thank you bosslady! I'll write down the web address and give it to her. She just left here because she borrowed my xpen and was on her way to work...she has a grooming shop and she's taking mom and pups with her.

She has four Westies already and is going to keep one from this litter and sell the other ten, LOL...She is not a breeder so to speak but her Westies are beautiful

Any other info you could post later would be so appreciated

If she feels she absolutely HAS to take them, she shouldn't let anyone near them. No animals whatsover should go near them in her grooming shop...those pups will now be in danger of catching whatever someone elses dog may have. I take Mom and pups to the vet within 24 hours of birth to see how everyone is. Other than that, they really shouldn't be traveling and definetly shouldn't get germs...they are totally susceptable to everything...just like a newborn baby. Hopefully the relocation won't upset the Mamma dog and make her treat the pups differently.

WOW!!!!! Look at 'em all! Soooo cute!

One of my new good friends here in Charleston has 3 westies! Well, she has two and since her g'ma is going thru chemo, she's keeping hers too....so it's like she has 3! I can't wait to show her these pics!

I had a Westie. He was a very sweet dog, but very unhealthy. You must be very careful because they are prone to allergies, as mine was. He was always itchy and needed shots. They have a similar personality to Yorkies, but a little mellower.
