| Coyote attack Have you seen the youtube video of the little chi dog Tixxie that was attacked by a coyote, and the neighbor's rottie, named Happy, comes running to her rescue? What a smart brave dog Happy is! It's shocking how FAST that coyote comes running to grab lil Trixxie!!! I know there's coyotes around me. It's scary to see their speed in action. But it's a good ending, so watch! No gore or anything....I couldn't handle that.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | OMG -- that is SO freakin' scary! We have coyotes here in AZ, lots of them...and I've seen them in our neighborhood before. Thankfully, we have a 6+ foot adobe fence, but still. Yay for the Rottie!! Hope that little yorkie was okay.

| Yes, coyotes seem to be in every state in the country. I have seen them here in Upstate NY and I know they can scale my 6' chain link fence easily. Another reason Bentley is kept on a leash going potty. Thank goodess for that Rottie...sure was protecting the little one!!

| OHMYGOSH that HERO Rottie!!!! What a brave big buddy that little Chi had. But that little thing was fighting for its life - you could see - but without that big Rottie coming to the rescue, we know how it would have turned out. That little Chi owes its life to its big buddy and his excellent guarding instincts. What a dog!!!

| I have seen that video before, very impressive! That chi would have been a goner if it weren't for his buddy! Thank goodness he was there to save the day. We have coyotes in the more rural areas. Thankfully they don't venture into town much.
