| Heart Attack Moment... (rant) I take the back route to work b/c of all the traffic in the morning. It's a pretty narrow road and has lots of curves and such I'm extra cautious. Anyway, there were couple cars in front of me today, including a school bus. The bus made a stop to pick up some kids and moved on. As I was accelerating, a dog runs right in front of my car! I stopped my car in time and the dog just looked at me like "what?...." *sigh* The lady HAD him on a leash but took it off after her kids got on the bus. WHY??????????? Seriously!!!! It's not as if she didn't see the cars behind the bus! Why would anyone unleash the dog in that situation???? I don't care how obedient your dog is! You just don't do that! Ok.... my rant is over. Thank you. lol |

| Don't you wonder how some people manage to keep their dogs alive sometimes? Glad your reflexes and brakes worked!

I do not understand people and the off-leash obsession. We have seen people do similar things around here.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | As much as I'd love to have my dogs stick right to me even if off leash....I just don't think it's worth the risk, it just isn't. Thank God you were able to avoid hitting him, and I sure hope that lady learned a lesson, GEEZ!
