| I have the combo CO/Smoke Alarms in all bedrooms, hallway, one in every room now that I am looking at it! I got the First Alert brand....back when I purchased them, they were rated in top 5 in Consumer Report.... I dont buy anything without going to Consumer Report first! My next major purchase will be washing machine/dryer. I want a top loader, I want the largest capacity tub available.....that will be LG or Samsung....one has a 28# capacity, which they said was the largest, I have it written down but cant remember which one without my notes! But I am still researching....... |

We didn't sell fear, that is we didn't sell CO detectors. Our advice was to refer to consumer Reports, learn what to look for in a CO detector, the PPM and time before an alarm, if I'm recalling that correctly, and then for them to go to Home Depot. Again, if I'm recalling correctly, the PPM(parts per million of CO in the air) and time should be on the back of the units. Some of them only had an hourly rating, rather than minutes.... routine headaches, aggressive behavior(arguments), nausea... can sometimes be traced to CO exposure in the home or workplace. | |
