That video was disgusting but a cold hard fact as to where a lot of furs come from. Mankind has commited so many crimes against nature and even itself.

No one should ever wear fur. In fact, the people that do wear fur are no better than the scum fur traders. I don't care what kind of status symbol it represents and people that do wear them should have done to them what is done to the animals that were skinned alive. SKINNED ALIVE!!!! FEELING EVERY SLICE OF THE KNIFE! FEELING EVERY TEAR OF THE FUR TRADER'S JERK. MY GOD!!!!!

You think that by saying this I'm condoning violence...you bet your a$$ I am...paybacks for what is done to animals that can't protect themselves!

I've seen that video before. I made myself watch it the first time, but I wouldn't watch it through this time, it's too horrible and too sad. I forced myself to see what the animals go through so I would be aware of what ACTUALLY goes on, because in my little fantasy world prior to seeing this video, I actually believed that the animals would be euthanized in a humane manner (not that that makes wearing fur any better). I have since given everyone I know the graphic details to stop them from ever making the choice to wear fur.

I won't ever wear fur, it's such a horrible trade

I Agree with every single word you said Kimberley - it's so totally unreal that this STILL HAPPENS in our world ! How can anyone let it go on and not stop that - it's just revolting and made me want to throw up....and IF I SEE ANYONE in a Fur Coat or Fur LINED Jacket - I know I'd be in their face since seeing that ...

I just went and got my nails done, and thought about that video NONStop! I told everyone there about it.. I can't get those pictures out of my mind,, We are horrified by it,and most can't even stand to watch it,,HOW can anyone DO it,,it totally baffles me.
I keep envisioning the part where the animal is alive and moving up towards him cutting, trying still, to defend itsself! So Cruel.

What about that poor racoon that had been totally skinned alive and was still moving, trying to get up???? What a bloody mess! People that wear fur should be ashamed of themselves!! Then they fur trader that was standing on that dog's neck trying to suffocate it???? Why, so that the lady or guy walking down the street can show off that they have the money to get these items? Pathetic losers!!!!!!

I agree, I kept thinking how much pain he had to be in. And wondering how long he would live like that!
That is the absolute worst thing I have ever seen. Yes I will have a few choice words for fur wearers,,next time I see them.

I haven't been able to bring myself to look at the video. I am sick just reading these posts. The anti-fur cause is one of PETA's main causes. I have been criticized on this message board for backing some of PETA's work (not by anyone on this thread, I might add). I hope everyone who reads this thread and everyone who dares look at the video will now understand the great work they do.

I am ENRAGED. I didn't continue watching it after the first LIVE animal was skinned. I don't understand. WTF is the point of skinning a LIVE animal? That just makes me so sad. Especially when I think about how that is probably happening right now, as I type this...

I thought I could handle the video a little anyway since my family has always killed deer and has to skin them. Although they are DEAD at the time and I even have a horrible time with that!!!! I am always called a baby because I REFUSE to help process any of Bambi's meat. That should really STOP! Horrible treatment of animals..I mean come on! They could at least be dead first!!! I watched only about 5 sec of the video - no more for me!

I have problems watching the new or reading the paper without getting upset to the point of taking the law into my own hands. Sorry ladies I can't bear to watch it after reading the post that they are still alive!

Alison - you make a great point - PETA has a reputation of being somewhat fanatical - but as you can see by the site and many others - they are the ones trying to change things...

I'm a member of Peta myself ....and while I don't agree with some of their beliefs....THEY BRING ATTENTION TO DISGUSTING Practices like this one.....For that reason alone - I have to respect them.
