Yep, it was time-lapse. I tried experimenting with it, but you can't do much in an AT&T store...lol |
Yeah, Health app comes with the phone and I haven't heard anything bad about it. Not sure all what it does, but I know it tracks your movement and gives you reports. |

I'm sure enjoying my 6, and have already moved on to a different case than the first one..... one that isn't as slippery. Feels much safer now. One thing I found out with my new phone, and upgrading my iPad mini and iPad Air to iOS 8.02..... when my phone rings the it also rings on my iPads and I can actually answer like a speaker phone on my iPad. This is using new feature called Continuity, and can be turned off if you don't like it. Very handy for me if I leave my phone upstairs on a charger, or in my purse, it rings on my iPad on my kitchen counter. I'm sure there are many new features I haven't discovered yet. How are the rest of you enjoying your new phones? My DD is still waiting for her 6 Plus that she ordered before the release date. |
Yes, I got it -- the regular iphone 6. Love, love, love it. To be honest, I really missed Siri when I broke my iphone 5 and had to go back to a 4. I use her for reminders, alarms, directions, etc., all the time. But I like the slightly bigger display, LOVE the new camera toys -- slow mo and time lapse. I haven't experimented a lot with it, but I like that the health app tracks my activity even without setting it. I've had my ipad powered down since I got it, so I didn't know about the phone feature on that! Thanks for the tip! I found one cool thing out yesterday. If the iphone is plugged into a power device, you don't even have to press "on" to activate Siri. Just say "Hey, Siri" and she'll come on and ask what you need. I have it plugged into one of those portable batteries a lot of the time, so I just say "Hey, Siri, call Kelly" or "Hey, Siri, play Beatles" and I don't even have to touch the phone! Did I say I love it? Oh, almost forgot. I discovered I could order the phone from AT&T any time in the last month of my contract. So even thought my contract expired yesterday, I've had the phone for a week and a half! :) |
Geeez, thanks for finally telling me you got it. :p I am wondering how many others have the 6 and 6 plus, and how they like them. I like Siri too, and will use your tip. Hey, it's always nice to have somebody around to talk to (Siri) besides just the doggies. The only prob I have with Siri is when I dictate a text and say a Hawaiian word..... well you can only guess how much fun Siri has with spelling on those. I haven't implemented the Health app, but can see doing that in the future. |

I have been so busy with life lately that I haven't had time to play around with Siri or anything else much. Y'all need to post your fav new features. I'm sure I will never discover them otherwise. :p;) |
I also bought another case. I like the pelican case for when I'm going to be outdoors a lot but for every day use I love a car I ordered from Amazon. I can't remember the name but it's clear and a silicone case and so thin but protective. Plus It allows me to show off my gold phone  |
I love showing off my gold phone too :D:D:D, and the new case has gold rim around edges that are easier to grip. So, the new gold iPad Air 2 is looking really tempting to me. Thinking Santa might need to bring me one of those to match my prudy gold iPhone 6. |
I just received my IPhone 6 (not the plus) and all I can is WOW this thing is a log bigger than my 4S. I am trying to set up m Apple Pay and waiting for Wells Fargo so verify my account. I work in the payments industry and have been working on an Apple Pay project for a couple of months, shame on me for not ordering m phone when my boss told me to. |

I do Product Management for Financial Products and one of my products is the Debit Networks (like NYCE and Star). I have been managing updates to these products without ever using Apple Pay...well my Boss found a week ago and kind of gave me some grief over not updating. Apple Pay is suppose to be very secure, I can tell you that your actual credit card number is not stored on the phone, what happens is your number is assigned a token. Each store you use it at has a unique token that is unique to your phone, the token cannot be used on anything else other than your phone at the store in which its assigned. |
I work at a tmobile store and can't wait to get my own iPhone 6 plus. I can't decide if I want the silver or black one. I had a gold 5s before. We have to wait a while to buy after the launch date to make sure there's enough for customers. And I'm sure once I can order it there will be a long wait. All 6 plus iPhones are on back order. |
