Just a warning: if you still have your phone and want to update to iOS 8, remember to back everything up to iCloud or iTunes beforehand! Usually updating sends your iphone into recovery mode and the only way to use it again it to completely reset it to the factory settings! Don't do the same thing I did!

Also: if you want to see the iphone 6/6+ just skip the line at the apple store and check it out at AT&T or Verizon....no line there! :P

I feel your pain! I have to wait ALLLLLL the way until Black Friday for my contract to end! :( At least my contract will end on a huge savings day! :)

I measured the iPhone 6 with my current Samsung Galaxy S3 and they are the exact same height wise. Width/shorter side wise, the iPhone 6 is considerably less "wider" than the Samsung Galaxy S3. iPhone 6+ I'd say is roughly about the same size as the Note.

I see Apple is trying to compete with Samsung!
I would choose Apple over Samsung any day. I have the Samsung Galaxy S3 and it annoys me to death. First, when I want to look at a picture in an email, it simply won't just let me look at it. I have to press Download first, wait a bit, then pull down the Menu bar, search for the picture I just downloaded in ALLLL my downloads (which btw, if you try to delete them all, just reappear again in a couple of minutes) to then finaalllyyyyy see the picture. If I want to see it again, I have to do the whole downloading process again. Anyways, I think that iPhones have more of a user-friendly interface. I also like the touchprint feature.

My new phone is on the truck out for delivery!!! I am so excited :D we are on a mega data plan because my son is a gamer....AT&T just announced this morning twice the data for the same price...my monthly bill will go down 1,140 yearly for 10 more monthly GB..:cheer:

That's it! All this talk I just had to go look at them. Michelle, I think you're going to LOVE it. I bit the bullet and put my name on a waiting list for the 6+ too. I still have the 4S and am due for an upgrade and with the trade in program it seems like a good time.

YAY!! I called the local AT&T store to see if they have any cases to fit my phone. He couldn't believe mine is coming today, he said I am the first he is aware of in our little county :D Glad to know you like the big phone...I still haven't seen it yet and I am so nervous and excited :thumbup::thumbup:

Mike, have you checked to see if they pay off your existing contract when you get the iphone6? I thought I saw that on TV. I have the iphone 5s and would love the larger screen.

No, I haven't seen that and both Apple and AT&T tell me I have to wait. We just got Verizon up here, and I was hopeful they might pay off the account if I switched to them, but they told me no. All they will do is give me a $200 turn-in fee on my old phone.

I considered a switch to Verizon anyway, but they're only offering 6 gigs of data for a price comparable to what I'm paying AT&T for 10 gigs. Plus while I could switch Oct. 22, my wife has to wait until Dec. 24 until her AT&T contract runs out. I think we're stuck.

How exciting! Did they deliver yet? Are you activating it from home or having AT&T store do it? Can't wait to hear what you think of it.

It was here when I got home from work! I activated it myself and did the iCloud thing...all contacts,apps etc transferred beautifully. I am so glad I went with the plus! I am in love with it haha. AT&T store had a nice case. I was going to switch to otterbox when it comes out but I actually really like this case (pelican). It's very slim fitting and doesn't add bulk.
I haven't had a chance to play around with the camera much...but wow it does so much. Slow motion,time-lapse,panoramic etc....

The more I play around with it the more I like it. The size feels good in my hand and I LOVE the gold color. It sure is a big giant step up from my 4 ;):p:thumbup:
