I'm sure that every place has their bad element but I can't help but think that bad elements from all over are flocking to Ferguson to cause more problems. I feel so bad for the good people of Ferguson who are standing by helplessly watching the destruction of their community. I am watching this stuff going on in total shock and disbelief.
Confirmed, many of the people who were arrested in Ferguson recently are from out of state, Texas and Illinois. The media distorted the facts from the get go. Sensationalist seekers such as Al Sharpton and Jesse help stir the pot and bingo, you have chaos on the streets, riots and looting. The media will never point the finger at themselves, there is really limited ways to hold them accountable for their irresponsible behavior. These rogue mobs can form anywhere these days, the media knows it and they use them to create another news event.

Looking for a move somewhere in the next few years, crime statistics is at the top of the list to research. I want a strong police force in the area I move to, to keep the parasites at bay.

I don't like our cops much. Only thing they care about is drugs and traffic violations, since those are what make them money. I remember a couple of years ago I had a neighbor's kid come to my door and ask for a cup of sugar, fishing to see if the house was empty or not. I knew exactly what he was doing, but it's not against the law to ask for sugar. So that day my friend's house gets robbed and that same kid was seen breaking in. So I told my neighbors to call the police so I could make a statement to them saying this same kid was fishing to see if he could rob my place earlier in the day. Took three calls before they'd come and take a statement.

The police were completely useless. The only reason my friend got his stuff back was because the kid's dad dragged him over to my friends house with his share of the score and dragged him to retrieve the rest from his other criminal friends. The police wouldn't even call my friend to notify them if any of the stuff had turned up in pawn shops or if they had seized anything from the suspects. My friend had to call them every day. The cops in my city just want to catch you going 5mph above the limit or not quite making it through a yellow light.

I used to have a yardman that had a masters in education, quit teaching because he feared for his life in the classrooms he was teaching.....no respect for his position, his knowledge, or what he was so very capable of TEACHING the irresponsible, smart mouthed, rebellous thugs that were running ruff shod over his class room, as well as the few students that were actually trying to learn. His hands were tied as far as dicipline, and if he did manage to get some hooligan down to the principle's office, he found his car keyed and tires flattened in the teachers parking lot. Then, one day, he was caught in the parking lot by some thug with a knife..... This abuse runs rampant in all areas of our society. Instead of kids being raised to respect people in authority, they are being coached to challenge and question and defy anything anyone says to them, with the common mantra, "Dont take no chit off nobody". It seems to be the prevailing train of thought that "might makes right".... When Dr.Spock came back 35 years after he first wrote his book on how to raise bold children that are strong, independent, exploring and developing their own limitations without a firm parental guidance system, and question the sources of reasoning or authority they may encounter, and shook his head and announced publically that he was solely responsible for the ruination of 2 generations of children and he did not know if our society would ever recover from that.... Who in the baby boomers generation would have ever taunted, slapped, spit, attacked verbally or physically, or challenged a teacher, a policeman, or anyone their senior, just because they were "tuff enuff" to do it?
I can't imagine being a teacher now. I had a friend who taught in LA Unified who ended up quitting because he knew he'd get in trouble. One time some smart mouth 16 year old kept going at him for a couple of days so he grabbed the kid by his ankles, pulled him out of the desk while he was trying to hold on, dragged him in the hallway, and told him to get out and never come back to his classroom again in front of the entire class. Said he knew it was illegal as hell but that no one else ever disrespected him again.

I just saw on the news this week where some teacher/principal was trying to see to it that girls wore dresses/skirts/shorts(they actually wear short shorts to school these days!!!!) that at least covered their butts when they sat down, so she gave them a lecture about decency and modesty and then said they would not be allowed to wear clothes to school with their butt cheeks hanging out from their shorts, and if they bent over, their butts, crotches, and panties could not be visable....she then had the girls bend over, as if to pick up a pencil, and the girls who were in violation were sent home. Now the IDIOT parents are all in an uproar because this teacher has "embarrassed and humiliated" their precious little trollops, and they want the teacher fired!!!! It was strongly suggested a solution to all this is to wear uniforms.....OMG!!!! Major crisis!!! Cant do that!!! You are "inhibiting" these poor little spoiled tramp's creativity and sense of expression!!!!! Teachers have my utmost respect, and they should be dragging down at least as much annually as a NFL player, as they actually are TRYING to sculpt the generation that is going to be VOTING in a couple of years, running this country.....and trying to mold and shape the generation, blindfolded, mouths taped shut, and absolutely NO source of control or power or authority to even keep civility in their classrooms. As far as police go, I come from a long line of officers in my family....I just lost my most revered, respected, kindest, gentleman you would ever have the prvilidge and honor to know....he was a cousins husband, he was a Texas Ranger and OMG!! what an honorable man.....I have cousin's sons in HPD, working in various Constible departments, one in the Sherrifs department, and two in the Texas Highway Patrol. These men work under conditions that are so stressful, I am really impressed there are not more thugs shot and killed when they wont follow directions...if you shut your mouth, dont cop an attitude with these officers, do what they tell you to do without being a wise a$$, groping in your baggy pants pockets, or under the seat of the car, or pull a BB gun up and then be amazed and offended when you get shot.....people have to remember these men are shot at as they walk up to your car for a traffic stop, or responding to domestic violence calls, they are even "baited" by gang members with "dead bodies", and are then shot at when the police arrive to investigate. If I was a police officer, everyone would be instructed to throw the car keys out the window, get out of the car and lay face down on the street, before I would even get out of my car to approach them!!! It is amazing to me that more people dont get shot! I think they show an amazing amount of restraint and composure.....and while like every other profession, there are occasional bad apples in the barrel, statistics show they are rare and the public is much better off with a strong police force than without these tolerant, brave, compassionate men and women. (And that includes the officer that stopped me on the way to work several years ago, and ticketed me for speeding....63 in a 55 mph zone.....even if I was rushing in to surgery on a patient that had a leaking aneurysm!)
