| I miss my grocery store!!! Man.. the biggest (best) grocery store here is in a heated battle with the 2 owners and one owner got control of the board, fired the beloved CEO and all the employees went on strike. The stores are open but no one is delivering food, no one is working in them at the registers and stuff. Its awful! All the other stores are much more expensive. Plus I just shopped at this store my whole life. I wanted to go get my fresh handmade salad today (and yesterday) for $3, and I can't! I just want my store to reopen!!! Look up the tale of Market Basket. Its really interesting, but kind of getting old now! I admire these employees for sure!

| I don;t shop there and at this moment thankfully. What I think is funny is the board members thought this was all just going to blow over. People can really make a mark when they use their minds to do so......and I agree it is sorta getting old when we have other serious things happening in the world.

| Market Basket is one of the things I miss most since coming so far north. The nearest one to me is in Tilton NH, almost 2 hours away and I so looked forward to any opportunity to shop there. This is all very sad as I think the company is now ruined. I think Arthur T, the good guy, felt he was rich enough and was happy to run the company with low prices and happy employees, and that his greedier cousins, who seem to have the more common human trait of never being rich enough, effected a hostile takeover of the company to posture it for a lucrative sellout to a larger corporation. I'm in awe of the employees who went on strike in a quest to reinstate Arthur T. as CEO!

| Local economist professors are saying no one would buy the company now... it has to be Artie T or close up shop. The employees already said they wouldn't work for anyone else and they are proving that.... and the customers already said they won't buy from them until Artie T is CEO again... soooo it seems Artie T or bust! LOL I just miss my MB a lot!

| Uhoh... Market basket is in trouble? Is this everywhere or just up north? My fiancés parents shop at MB and that is the ONLY grocery in the whole town. Eek. I personally don't care for the layout of the store and their variety is very limited....but that still sucks.
