| Need advice from any new mommies or grandmas My niece is having a baby in a few months and one of the things she asked for is a baby video monitor. Do any of you have one that you really like? She wants a video monitor that has night vision to watch the baby at night. Any suggestions out there?

| Have you looked up reviews? I'm sure you can find out more that way. I don't have children so I don't have any advice on what type of monitors to buy.

| I have looked up reviews and checked out Consumers Report. Video monitors are not given a very good review. I was hoping someone on YT had some experience with one. I have a few months before the baby is due so I hopefully can research more about them.

| Thank you both so much for your replies. I was starting to wonder if anyone used video monitors. I'll look at both and let her decide.

| I had Withings one when I just had question so I could see what in the heck he does while I work and if he was doing something like trying to escape his xpen I could tell him 'NO'... which confused the heck out of him since he knew I was not home But after seeing all the news reports and all about how people can hack in and see your child and the inside of your home we sold ours.
