1 Attachment(s) Is this an insane price for a bar cart or not? I'm trying to find something cool to use outdoors as a bar cart...really don't want to spend this much but am having really hard time finding anything. Also, wish it was a bit deeper. Wonder if there is an Ikea Hack of some sort I could do as a bar cart. This one is $154: https://www.jossandmain.com/The-Loft...64~E11278.html |

The small basement area which is the same level as the garage, does have air conditioning but again because it underground we rarely turn on that zone. I do have one of those stand alone air conditioning units, it's a Haier LOVE that thing (got it when the AC went out in the upper level). I have used it in the garage before when it was really humid and I was painting. |
2 Attachment(s) Not the price point you want, but that cart is really awesome. Here is a giant bar table from re-claimed wood. Black window casings in the background! Attachment 399551 |

Also love this one so much, but too $$: Timbergirl Serving Cart | Wayfair I ended up buying this one below, and if it doesn't look right outdoors, I'll put it somewhere else maybe. |
I really do like the industrial style factory cart thingys but I always see the ones with chintzy looking wheels. The ones from Restoration look great but no way I'm paying $2000 for one. |

Found a cool new blog today: Vintage Revivals - Fearless DIY She made these rather cool industrial sconces...you could do lots of hacks based upon this design, esp w/ copper pipes (I'm lookin' at you Priscilla :)) etc: DIY Wall Sconce Task Lights & A Target Update! - Vintage Revivals |
I really want to do one of those metal piping shelves. I think someone posted on a bit earlier? I super wanted to do one of these bike chain chandeliers, but bf vetoed, and we got rid of all our chain scraps. Bicycle chain chandelier by Carolina Fontoura Alzaga The interesting thing is the artist that makes these is from LA and her assisstant came to our shop asking for chain trash donations. I could SO make these, and we had all the materials, but again, bf said no, so oh well. :( |
That chandlier is BEAUTIFUL!!! Those are bicycle chains? If I get a vote, I vote with you making one, that way we can out vote your BF. |

I think the chain chandeliers are just gorgeous and elegant. Love the draping. Otherwise, I have an AWESOME idea...to fulfill your burning desire to make one, you can make one for MOI. I'll just take one for the team, fine ;). Sound good? Okay, good. I love the metal piping shelves too - I have a bunch pinned. I also love the pipes as curtain rods. |
Well the problem now is we threw away all our old used bike parts. :( |
