Good, at least you all can physically stay safe it a bad storm comes but we're all hoping that predicted nasty weather skips everyone today and just stays rain.

We've got a storm on the way - it's very, very dark here but it's not expected to be severe. Still, I HATE springtime storms this time of the year!!!

You are very luck to have a safe room. Did you build it or was it in your home when you purchased it? I really think they should be required in areas prone to tornados.

We built our house. We found a house plan then took it to a lady who made changes and recreated the plans. The one thing I required in our plan was the safe room. They take concrete blocks and rebar. They then fill those with concrete. The door is a steel door with three deadbolts on it. They say underground is safer but a safe room has to be better than nothing. I agree with you. I think in our areas they should require them too. It's a couple thousands dollars more but probably well worth it.

The sky is rumbling right now as we speak. It will be a long night for us. They are expecting winds to 80 mph, 2-3" hail, and EF2 and larger tornadoes. I pray that God puts his protection around all of us in the area.

I'm glad you have a safe room. Wish we had one. I regret that we chose a house without a basement.

We had a rain and then nothing else looks like it's going to be bad here in North Texas - I hope. We have one or two tiny spots on radar to the southwest moving this way but they don't look bad. I hope those things just don't form over you all up there and move on out.

Our tornado watch has been changed to PDS (potentially dangerous situation). The storms are expected to come right through my town in about 1 hour and 45 min. I think this is the first time I have really been scared about what is coming. I have never seen them call it a PDS.

We are about 45 minutes away from you in the Mountainburg area and our church service has just been canceled tonight due the probability of severe storms. I will keep you in my prayers.
