It's that time of the year again! The Reliant Dog Show is coming up in July from the 16th - 20th; and Yorkie Haven Rescue will once again have a booth and a huge raffle! The dog show link is:

Some of you have already donated items for the raffle and some have promised to donate. Please be aware that we have a JUNE 1st cut off on donations for the raffle so that we can get the flyer together and sell tickets prior to the event. Other donations can come in up until the date of the show!

We can use all sorts of things...even if they are small things like dog clothing and toys, top knot bows and whatever, we can use them for other things at the booth. We can use items for humans and for pets!! This is a perfect time to purge your closets and cabinets of unused/unwanted items! Some ideas for people are jewelry, cologne, bath and body items, golf balls, scarves, handbags, paintings, figurines, coffee, teas, mugs, candies...anything at all!!! We can turn anything into money to help the pups!!! A link to pics of our booth from 2012 is here:

Last year, our Gift Card Wreaths were a huge hit. We are going to do at least one Gift Card Tree, hopefully two depending on donations. You can send gift cards to us in any denomination ... Some ideas are Starbucks, Mc Donalds, Red Lobster, Chili's, Target, Kohl's, Hobby Lobby, Michaels, Walmart, CVS, Walgreens, YOU NAME IT!! Remember that even a $5 gift card can be valuable...they all add up to make a great prize! :)

To get some ideas of the items we could use for the raffle, here is the link to last year's raffle catalog. Keep in mind that for the baskets, we took items that were donated and grouped them together, so it is not necessary to donate an entire basket of items!
