I haven't been on much, but stopped by today. I am totally cracked up to find this thread on YT, and see that some of you have been watching and talking about it for 2 years. I can't even read this thread, but wanted to share that I just started watching Game of Thrones a few weeks ago..... and just finished season 2. I am not much of a TV or movie watcher, and this is definitely not my type of film, but I hate to admit that I think I am hooked. I can't even remember most of the character names, or titles, and I hate movies with violence and killing (I'm more of a chick-flick romantic type) ..... but OMG I always seem to want more, and often watch 3 episodes in an evening with BF. Could not wait to see if Khaleesi would get her baby dragons back. Yay, she did. She is my fav character and I hope she lasts through the entire series. Mostly, I just wanted to say HI to YT friends. It is so cool to see this wonderful community of people chatting about such a wide variety of things. My life is so good and so busy I just don't have time to sit at my computer much. Aloha To All :) |
Well it is a great show and last show before last night's episode had like 7.8 million viewers |
That was the most satisfying season finale, I've ever seen. Usually, I can't stand violence, lol, but I was screaming to Jon Snow, hit again, hit again. Then how fitting, dogs got the final justice on that horrible horrible man. I don't remember ever hating a character so much. Well done! |
There's another episode left ;) |
I'm usually not a fan of battle scenes, but last night's episode was something to see. Visually stunning, Jon Snow vs Ramsay Bolton. I could nitpick at some plot details and Sansa has me confused, but still found it impressive on the whole. Daenerys, Tyrion, and Grey Worm were awesome too. Looking forward to seeing what happens with Cersei next week. They can't kill her off! |

Kristin, totally agree. I'm not always the hugest fan of super long battle scenes, but this was just COOL. Wow. So well done. I was so crazy 'proud' of Jon Snow and how he never, ever, ever backed down, not once. He had a mission and he would die for it, if needed. That was awesome. And then when he pummeled Ramsay, I just wanted to hop in the TV, push him aside, and be all "no, lemme have a chance now!"..... I hate Ramsay; he's right up there w/ Joffrey...no redeeming qualities whatsoever. I'm also so confused over Sansa - I mean what the heck? She was so weird and off and so many other things; but what killed me to no end is that she didn't tell Jon about her plan to get Littlefinger. Bothered me immensely. I'm dying for next week: Cersei, Red Witch. I really do need a Sam update too...Jon NEEDS HIM, for crying out loud :p! Quote:

I had to watch it again last night |
I'm going to watch the last 2 episodes again and pay closer attention to Sansa. Still leaning toward her being duplicitous. At the Wall, she tells Jon that they have to save Rickon and recapture Winterfell no matter what the odds. Then the night before the battle, she tells Jon that saving Rickon is hopeless and Jon doesn't have enough men. No hint that she had written to Littlefinger. I think she is hardened and playing the Game of Thrones. |
Could she be pregnant with Bolton's child |

I need to re-watch a few episodes because I do not remember if she sent the raven before or after she and Jon were unsuccessful in securing more troops from other houses. I also want to pay closer attention to how Sansa and Jon reacted to each other after the big battle. |

Littlefinger confuses me too. I guess power was more seductive than his thing for Sansa. I can't wait for tonight's episode! |
I thought it was tomorrow night, Sun. Littlefinger wants power, but, it confused me quite a bit when he delivered her to Bolton because I also thought he had a thing for her just like he had had for her mom. House Tully is where Sansa's mom Kaitlyn was raised/of. He'll never be trusted by Sansa again. House Tully - Game of Thrones Wiki - Wikia So I had to figure out why Jon & Sansa didn't wait for the Tully army. Rewatching some episodes may give an even clearer picture but here is what I think so far: Jon and Sansa may have already known the Tully army was held up with their own siege inside of their castle, key word, their uncle Blackfish. Brianne, woman knight, was sent to them to try and get them to assist Sansa(the actual Tully blood). Jaimiee, true to his word this time, let the Tully army go after the siege ended, so Jon and Sansa didn't know they were coming. The Tully army no longer has a home, the iron throne has given their castle and lands to someone else. SO!!!!! Castle Winterfell needs an army, the Tully army needs a home.... ya see where I'm going with that. The current head of the Tully house is being held captive and not going to be rescued. I'm reading into what info I see, but it is fun to look at it this way. Winterfell - Game of Thrones Wiki - Wikia |
Tomorrow night, yes. :p I was just informed that this Saturday, not Sunday. Getting ahead of myself. Told you I can't wait. I was confused about the Tully army. I thought the troops that Littlefinger brought were from the castle with the moon door, the Eyrie, and the Robin kid. Jaime took Riverrun, and Brienne sailed off in the moat without the army. How did this all come about with the troops? I need to read more of the wiki. |

The Eyrie - Game of Thrones Wiki - Wikia OH! The army that came to their rescue was the Arryn army.... not the Tully army... oops... I'm so confused! LOL |
Cerci didn't need anyone's help. Up in smoke! |
OMG. OMG. OMG. I don't even have the words to describe just how GREAT every single scene was last night - holy all!!! Whoa. Cersei . NEVER ever would've guessed that's what was coming. Was super glad to see Sansa apologize for last week, to Jon. Er, I mean KING Jon :)! I only hope she is okay w/ him being King and doesn't get caught up w/ Littlefinger. So, are we thinking now that based upon the Lyanna scene, that Jon is actually the son of the Mad King, who raped Lyanna...? If so, then Jon has the most legitimate claim to the throne of them all...and is half-brother to Daenarys. And ARYA!!! Brutal scene, but I was so glad to see her avenge the Red Wedding. |
YES! YES! YES! I was on the edge of my seat from start to finish. Cersei is a major baddy, but I can't help enjoy watching her. What was Jaime thinking as he watched Cersei take the crown? Do you think they met before the ceremony, or did he ride into town just as the ceremony was starting? I think Nancy was right about Sansa, she is sincere in her support of Jon. My guess is that Sansa is rightfully worried what Littlefinger will do now. I was cheering for Arya! That one I did not see coming. Bye Walder Frey! Sam and the HUGE library was a sweet little scene. So many books -- a dream come true for him. How long do we have to wait for the next season?! |

Arya did great this week, the father and the male heirs to that bloodline. That house is done... Sweet! He was disgusting! |
House Stark - Game of Thrones Wiki - Wikia House Targaryen - Game of Thrones Wiki - Wikia Game of Thrones just revealed Jon Snow?s real parents - Vox "Alright, folks: It’s time to start talking about the Game of Thrones season 7 release date. Sure, the paint isn’t even dry yet on Game of Thrones season 6, but we’ve got to look to the future, eh? Well, Game of Thrones season 7—which will come out next April, in all likelihood—is going to be a bit of a different beast. It’s not official yet, but there are prominent, well-sourced rumors that the next two seasons are both going to be shorter—six or seven episodes each instead of ten. It’s sad news, but that seems to be the way things are going for next April." |
