Apple has a pretty nice credit program too. The price is fixed by Apple so it really doesn't matter where its purchased. It's like buying a Weber grill they set the price and that's it.

I have a Macbook Air, prior to that I had the old White Macbook (it is still working in the hands of my niece's Grandmother In Law).

Love my Macbooks, I have never had any problems that could not be fixed by a quick Google Search of a trip to the Apple Store.

To answer someone's question yes, my Macbook Air has USB Ports and I also purchased the CD/DVD drive. I love my Macbook Air, it is so light and the battery life is close to 9 hours before it needs to be charged. I could not work with just my IPad, I need a laptop also.

If you are looking for a Macbook but are open to a refurb check out the Apple Store refurbs, they offer the same warranty as new and the prices are great.

I have bought a couple of IPads through the refurb store and have had great results.

I looooveeee Macbook, won't ever go back. I have a new one simply because I wanted more space and faster, but my Macbook from 5 years ago still works perfectly. My new one is just faster. Never had any problems.

I also love my iPhone and iPad.

Does the MB Air have USB ports? Must have to hook up external hard drives and CD/DVD drive. Light weight and portability is not a major issue for me as mine rarely leaves my home... mostly on my desk, and not far from electrical outlet.

Yes, there are 2 USP ports on the Air. It really is amazing how long they will last. Like I said in my first post, mine was bought used and was like new. It really did look almost exactly like the brand new Pro that we bought in October. Even the Pro is pretty lightweight but this Air is so light it's crazy!

My iPad is used all day every day and has held up crazy-good. It does do one thing that is a common complaint with the 2's, but really a great product.

We have a couple white MBs. They are getting tired, but we did get them used and I am really hard on electronics. One of them was dropped on concrete and stills works pretty darn good.

If I had $$$ to spare now I'd get another one just for fun.

I've been a Mac user for years and I would never go back to PC. I have a Pro, iPad and have had several iPhones. Mac is the way to go
