| I live in San Diego and all is well here. We needed the rain so badly. It's the crazies on the road that is the problem. They just don't slow down and slide and crash all over the freeways. The poor people with the cold and snow are the ones to feel sorry for.

Yes, we needed the rain & I love it when it rains. Poor doggies were not able to go out for walkies for the last few days, but we're heading out today. It was raining a lot, non stop on Friday, all is ok here. A little flooding on the 1st ground level staircases & some water in the garage. The places where there were fires were hit bad, all the mud coming down from the hills. Thank you for thinking of us, here in Cali!

It rained pretty good, but nothing too scary.

| Just saw this thread too. Nothing to be concerned about out here. I'm roughly 10 miles from the area that burned and was having mud slides. Since I'm up in the foothills, we did get quarter of a foot to half a foot of flooding in our backyard which sits lower than the rest of the house. That's about it. I hear some surfers had fun enjoying the waves we've been having.

| That is what the media wants you to think. But bless you for worrying about us. It's ok, we didn't float off into the Pacific.

| I live near San Bernardino. I was up late (I think it was Monday) and there was 2 within 40 minutes from each other. I have been freaked out since. So much so that I went out and purchased flashlight to put in every room and make everyone have a pair of shoes next to their beds.
