LOL I have also watched a few American Idol shows this season. Tonight 1 of the 3 left will be sent home. Next week is the Finale for American Idol. From what I have seen I really Jena. I used to be a major American Idol fan, but the last serveral years it has gone down hill so much. I think I stopped watching after Adam Lambert (I so love him) season . I am much more into The Voice. |
It's okay to watch more than one competition shows...you're not traitor's. I lost interest in AI years ago and never looked back. But it's still okay...if you do. |
Oh good, I don't feel so bad now that I know others are watching Idol a little too. When it first started, I watched every show, every season, and when The Voice started it took me a while to get in to it. Now I love it, partially because of the coaches. Anyway, after Monday and Tuesday nights of The Voice, I turned to Idol Wednesday to wean myself off.... haha. I have watched a few times, but last night really blew me away, and I'll watch tonight to see what happens. I can't even tell who is my favorite, as they are all phenomenal. I also like that they aren't over-staged with too many lights there, so maybe low budget is a good thing. |

Well it looks like it turned out like so many thought, Jena and Caleb. I agree it is so easy to watch without all the distraction and maybe better low budget. Since Caleb is going to sing with Kiss, maybe they are spending the entire budget on that. :D Either one is fine with me to win but the fact is it will break my heart to see either lose. |
I have been watching both. Caleb never fails in whatever he sings. He is a total rocker. Jena had a unique voice and is only 17!! |

Caleb and Jena are amazing. I'm glad Voice and Idol are on different nights so I don't have to choose which to watch. I'll get to watch both finales. All of these artists have such a wonderful opportunity to further their music careers with experience and exposure on these shows. It seems like they don't always take full advantage of it though, as sometimes there are winners that we never hear of again. |

I wonder if this is a reputable site:confused: I do know that their contract is very secretive and can be sued if they talk about some of the things in it. The 1 million was X-Factor, it was leaked not long ago that they stopped the 1 mill but were sworn to secrecy. They have cancelled X-Factor after only 3 seasons. I never watched it but must have heard about the 1 mill. |
I think last season we were trying to find out if the contestants get part of the money from the sale of their songs on iTunes. The only song I bought was Tessanne's Bridge over Troubled Waters.... and often the sales of The Voice songs hit the top. Does anybody watch America's Got Talent? |

I am not a regular follower of AGT, but seem to watch it when nothing else interesting is on. There have been some amazing talents on there, and such a variety. As with other contests it gets more interesting after the junk gets weeded out and only the good stuff remains. I used to enjoy Dancing with the Stars, but gave it up when The Voice came on the same time. Obviously a lot of others did the same. |

Great show, and I know who I'm voting for. Shakira and Blake's duet was really good, but geez, I think her dress is just a lil too short. I didn't love Usher and Josh's duet, I think Josh does better on his own. Jake..... well not my fav performance by him. Still watching. I'll be sad to see it end tomorrow. |
Great show last night. They all did great. But I am so pulling for Josh. Now tonight American Idol has pulled a Switch A Ro. They are having their final 2 singers on tonight and then the Finale is tomorrow night. |

My two cents, for what it's worth; I think that Christina deserves to win- she has the best range if the final three- in song choices and vocal ability. Jake is great for the Country genre, but it is always safe with him. Country is "easy" to sing (for lack of a better term.) Josh has a great voice, but he bothers me- his voice doesn't match his face and it is hard to watch him though it is a great voice to HEAR. Does that make sense? Anyway, I think Christina proved that SHE has "The Voice." |

American Idol is at 8pm for an hour as well as a recap of The Voice in the same time slot. I'll be watching American Idol and then at 9pm The Voice will be on for 2 hours. I'm torn on who should win The Voice...all are good in their own right. Last year was easy for me...Tessanne! Can't wait for tonight!! |
