I wouldn't feel too badly, I thought Delvin should have won.:( I keep remembering in the battle when he beat Josh. I truly believe that our votes only play a small part in this and iTunes most of it. Josh was in the top all along with people buying his music. I can't believe I am saying this but I would not buy his music even though I felt he was the best at the end. I would buy Jena or Caleb's music and especially something of there's together. After last night, I think Caleb will win. |

I have to admit Adam turned me off with his attitude towards the end of this season. I went from pulling for Christina to anyone else but her. Especially when he said no matter how it went he was signing her to his record label. It was like so why bother having her win since she will be signed anyway. Can't wait to see American Idol tonight...Caleb has never faltered that I can see but I guess one can never tell how the viewers will vote. |

I'm a bit disappointed, but it is what it is. Now, let's see what becomes of our winner...I do hope he uses it to his full advantage. I actually loved the duet between Christina and Adam, I would buy it. It's my kind of music...that's really the only one I personally loved. Congrats to those that picked the winner...there's always next season. lol!!! |
Josh was on The Today Show this morning, and I have to say I just not very impressed with him. Maybe Christina would be less impressive too in that setting, live on the plaza, without all the stage whoopla they had on Voice. I'm not all that sad she didn't win. Seeing Bria perform with her & others last night made me wish Bria had stayed in to the end.... even more so than Christina. |

Watching American Idol right now, and have to say there are/were some very good singers on this season. The few times I've watched it lately though I think Harry Connick Jr is kind of a snob. Lost a lot of respect for him from comments he made to several contestants and even to the other judges. I really like Jennifer Lopez, as a performer and as a judge. |

My take on the American Idol show last night, just my opinion and do give your opinion. I think I was wrong to say 'low budget' I should have said 'no budget' although Kiss in the very beginning was great and also later John Legend. Jennifer in her almost unclothed single was not my cup of tea but that is just me. Dear God, I hope no one will ever ask Ryan Seacrest to sing again, he was off key at the beginning, in the middle and at the end. To me it seemed to drag but I was tired and maybe that is why it seemed that way. Now to the good stuff They won, yes they did and it really seemed that way. For those of you who didn't see it, she was as happy as he and it was sincere. They were asked if they had anything to say to each other before they announced the winner and she said 'you are the bomb' and he said right back, 'you are.' Ryan told the audience that they are going to the prom together and all I can say is that they are two extremely talented sweet kids. He has an album coming out August 12 and I will buy it. I also think I will email the show and tell them how much I hope they make an album together. |
Joan, I am with you on Jennifer's outfit being way too little; it would be better suited for a pole dancer. She doesn't need that at all distraction. Overall I liked the whole show. The different mixes of artists was creative, entertaining, somewhat funny, and hey...... loved the absence of the Grand ole Oprey, haha. Caleb and Jena are just amazing, and especially together. I wonder if they will have a future together personally and/or professionally. So sweet. I'm glad I tuned in to the last couple weeks and saw the finale. |
I agree with you about Jennifer Lopez's lack of clothes. She didn't need to distract from her song. All of the entertainment was very well with contestants singing together and with the different bands. I, too wonder if Caleb and Jena will make an album together and have a personal relationship. Would love to see pictures of them at her prom! :) |
Can you imagine the two of them coming to the prom together, they will have to sell bleacher seats.:) Glad to know both of you enjoyed the show, it must have been that I was tired. Edit: yes no Grand ol Oprey. LOL |
