:D I know I really shouldn't interfere on this thread....BUT....!!!! :D Our The Voice has just reached the point where the blind auditions have finished (I love that part the best - the shock and horror on some of the judges faces....!!! :eek: :D). Our judges this year include Kylie, will.i.am and Tom Jones (Sir :D) - very diverse - love it!! :) Sally x |
Anyone from the UK is a friend of mine/ours:) and you will not interfere. How great that 'The Voice' in your area is as exciting as here, there is just something about it. WOW, Sir Tom Jones:cool: Let us know which one is your favorite there in England and I'll put his/her video on here, I know we change our minds week to week and I suppose you do too, it would be fun and when you change your mind just let us know and you can be a part of this one. As I remember we are five hours ahead of you but that is the only plus we have over Hawaii. :cool: Lucky you! I hope Kathy's weather has improved and she is alright, we are getting it rough again so I hope my power doesn't go out. :eek: I'd be at my daughter's if it did. Can't wait , love the judge lineup also...didn't care too much for Cee-lo and Christina last season. |

Kathy I like those two too, the first one was Christina and the last Bria. I also like the duo Dawn & Hawkes that Adam got. It is so fun watching the coaches fight over the artists. Love having Shakira and Usher back this season, and Adam and Blake are always fun. |

My son-in-law is watching.:thumbup: Took notes and can't read my writing so I hope that is his name. The fellow with almost six children, I thought was good. Loved the first girl and last young man but this duo is my fav as of today. Adam always gets the cream of the crop, in my opinion, he has the first girl too. Attachment 396989 this is so small because Yorkie Talk requires it that way. I think their name is Dawn and Hawk?? This is going to be a great year with all this talent. |
Great 1st show. but still a long way's to go. Several that I liked. I love having Usher and Shakria back. I am also glad that Celo will not be returning at all. He was just creepy. Can't wait for tonight. |

The reason I put the date in the title is that we are sure to have another in 2014. So anyone else starting later in the season you can always research on their main website. Joan, yes it's good to have the website throughout the thread, especially when the teams are chosen to see who has which artists. I was interested in reading the bios on the ones chosen last night, and was surprised to see that Bria, only 17 has performed the National Anthem 40 times and used to open for Miranda Lambert. No wonder she is so at ease. Christina has had a huge following on YouTube and some time with Selena Gomez, to give her some confidence. |

I guess I've gotten used to all these shows telling so much of the background stories of the contestants. I didn't read all the bios but was interested to see how certain young girls can have so much confidence in addition to their talent. Some people accuse producers of The Voice of pulling in "a ringer" in the past, people with performing experience already, up against those who have none. It's all fair though, and an equal opportunity for all to get exposure and further their careers. Love this show, and like the rest of you, glad Ceelo has moved on. |
