| Shana, The way my ex's friends used to do it was they win a little bit of money every week (like $25 bucks) but if your "team" wins at the end of the season, you win a couple hundred dollars. Just think...I'm sure you're men are having fun...and they get a chance to win money. But we on Yorkie Talk also spend hours on here, we have fun, we're helping people, but we're not getting paid. Well that's okay, I have one paying job (teacher), one volunteer job (rescue squad...currently driving the ambulance, going to EMT school soon), and my Yorkie Talk job. So what am I getting 1cent an hour? LOL I love helping people though, it's like the motherly instict without the human children anyway.

| I don't get it either, but ALL the men in my former office were obsessed with it!!! They would talk about it in meetings, daily, like it was business! I would be afraid to interrupt my editors when they were talking until I realized that their quiet, "serious conversation" was fantasy-football related!!!! Pflllhhhhhh!

| They may be addicted to their little games but we are just as addicted to YT. My husband doesn't understand me being on here for so long! I just keep telling him that it's for the betterment of both dogs & we'll all benefit from it in the long run.

| I have another idea: "If you can't beat 'em, Join 'em". Football, basketball and baseball are so much fun to watch! Why don't all you guys pick some teams, learn the rules and then you won't be complaining about having to watch because you love it so much!

I guess we dont get paid for YT . Still it just seems more productive and I like giving my husband a hard time for his basketball thing. It really is super cute seeing him work so hard though. He really does like to "hyperfocus" in on a task or hobby but they always last only a few weeks. I wonder what the next one will be.....

| At work I spend at least half an hour a day messing with my fantasy basketball team. I actually check it first thing in the morning right after email. It's an addiction just like cocaine, except your nose stays cleaner. I think the allure of fantasy sports is every guy wants to be on a sports team no matter how much his genes tell him that he is destined to be a skinny 6 foot asian guy who can't dunk...
