| I'm in the minority, too. I like the first set, too. The construction and form of the first set are better, in my opinion. Incidentally, I own bar stools that are similar to the first set, and they're great. |

| I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say I don't like either. Your kitchen is so gorgeous, and those stools look kinda cheap to me. I would go for something a bit beefier. And they don't look too comfy. LOL

| Me too. We just got some new (old) barstools with thick cushy tufted leather backs and cushions.

| I think #1 has a cleaner line and more solid stance. You need lines strong enough to stand up to the granite counters. By the way, LOVE your kitchen - beautiful!

| Just to make it more confusing I thought I would throw this out to you... My DS has these in his home (they have the linen ones) they are comfortable.
