Stay calm if you can. I am a one year survivor. 85% of all abnormalities are benign. Here's a GREAT site for you for information, and they have a wonderful forum much like this one with excellent people to take care of all your fears, needs, and questions. You will make some great friends there too, if you need them. Their chat room is a love and support festival. It's an amazing site! I hope you visit. www.breastcancer.org Best of luck to you, my friend, and let us know how things are progressing when you can. |

Exactly. Just b/c there is a "spot" doesn't mean it's bad. I worked for General Surgeon for 3 years, and sometimes they weren't threatening. You are in my prayers! Keep us updated! |

same experience I just went through the same experience in the fall. I am 44 and I was scared to death. I had to back for a second mammo and when I was in the room waiting they said I needed to have an ultrasound. They were booked up so I had to wait until Monday and then I had to wait for those results. All was ok. Thank God so keep your positve thoughts flowing even though I know its hard to do. The techs are very cautious now adays so keep that in mind. Let us know. I'll pray for you as everyone on this board did for me when I went through it. Thanks |
We are all praying for you! Stay positive! I am in the final stages of completing my treatment(5 years) and I can tell you staying positive is really a key! If you need to talk any time pm me! :) :) :) |

Thanks Villette, that was cute. |
I'm so sorry My mother had something similiar to that happen. She was 48 and her mother was diagnosed with breast cancer, so she went to get her very first mamo. Well, they called back and wanted her to come in for more testing. She thought for sure she had cancer like her mother. She had to go in 3 seperate times for different kinds of test and it ended up being (sp?) some kind of fybroid tissues which were all normal. Thank God. She goes back every year now and goes through all the tests. I will be praying for you. Let us all know how everything turns out! |
My prayers are with you. I had the same thing happen and went back for more testing and everything was fine. I'm praying for the same result for you. I always worried about going for the mamograms. Always thought it would be something bad. Well, I was diagnosed with kidney cancer at 44. Hopefully it was caught in time and removal of my kidney has gotten it all. I go for CT scans every 3 mos now. One year will be up in March. Again my prayers are with you and try not to worry. Charlotte |
I will be praying that this turns out to be nothing but a big scare! I feel so bad for you knowing how sick with worry you must be. Think positive and there is power in prayer and there is a whole truckload of prayers coming from this forum. Big hugs to you! Maddie sends kisses! |
