All is well here. The biggest waves are not hitting on my side, although they will continue until Friday morning. I think I'm out of danger. The rain stopped and the sun came out, and the wind quit for now, so I'm quite happy.

Now I hope the sun will shine on all of you!

That's a relief, first thing I got up, I wanted to check.:)

We are at 9 degrees and they tell us we are going to have seven more days of this. The kids have school, they have missed so much, I hope the parents are driving them if their car starts.

It's raw and cold here this morning & going down to 18 tonight but since I don't have to go out today, Tibbe and I are hunkered down on the couch in the den under the heated throw and watching old movies.

It was -2 degrees, wind chill was -20, when I came home tonight about 3 hours ago, haven't checked since. Praying for an early spring...

I feel so bad for you all who are so cold. It was overcast most of the day here, in the lower 30's most of the day and is down to 26 right now - on its way to 18 or 19 but it's absolutely miserable outside. I just took Tibbe out all bundled up but still got so cold I could barely stand it while he was doing his business! I don't know how in the world those of you who live where it gets seriously cold manage. You are way tougher than I am!

Feel bad for me too:D it's five below here, I waited to shop until today since it was supposed to warm up some ......well so much for that. I know 26 can be terrible yorkietalkjilly when you are used to having it so warm.

Kathy, my Son just asked me if I'm ready to move to Florida yet, he and his wife are there. I couldn't leave family here, I tell them to move this way but that will never work after this winter.:thumbdown Oh well they send me tickets to visit and that I love.

Maybe you need to get a ticket south right about now...if the planes are even flying. The wind here is a killer...omg...it makes it sooooo much colder then it really is.

I know what you mean the temp is up a bit but we are now getting heavy winds and snow and reports still saying another week of this.

Our local 11pm news last night said that local hospitals are having to amputate lots of fingers, toes, ears and noses because of frost bite. They also said best to get to a hospital with a burn unit if after coming in some part of your body is tingling or burning. If it means more dangerous driving to get to a burn unit go the major hospital in the area.

Its not too bad today, getting 1 -3 inches of snow... but starting Monday its going to be down to the teens once again and slowly moving into the mid 20s. for the remainder of the week.

Today is cold, but the wind isn't as fierce...the sun is shining and it almost feels normal again.

It's not getting any better in my neck of the woods, here in Ohio
