Well, all I can say is that Mother Nature is not a happy camper...what horrible weather there has been, seemingly everywhere. |

Today is going to 12 deg Celsius! Yahoo That's about 50deg F or so. And it is a sunny morning. Planning on garden work and of course gotta wash at least one doggie today. |

We were very warm here Thursday and Friday and then yesterday and today, it's been chilly - cold even - rainy. It's 49 degrees here right now, been raining all day and I'll admit to living mostly on the couch under the heated throw and napping a lot with Tibbe right nearby snoring away. He likes to sleep in rainy weather just like people do. The weather is finally moving out for the day according to radar but I think more rain is forecast for tomorrow - the day of the NCAA Mens Basketball Championship game here in Arlington, TX., at Cowboys(AT&T) Stadium. They are waiting for the rain to pass before they start a big Nascar race at the Texas Motor Speedway - something called Duck-something. I think they should be able to start in a while according to the radar. But we've had some very fall or winter-like weather these past two days in North Texas and all our visitors for those two big events have probably been surprised as it's usually sunny and warm here in April. |
Hi Jeanie, it's hard to believe Texas is having winter like weather still. It's dreary here today. 48 and rain. Thursday, they are saying 72, I'm holding them to it.:D |

We're 82 and very windy here today. Really nice and sunny. Wish it would not get much hotter than it is today but that's a useless wish! |
We had high winds here also, which make the temp drop. I'm waiting for the day when I can get these windows opened and enjoy a nice cool breeze ! Today is not that day .:D |
We've had a couple of beautiful days. Next week's forecast is back down in the 40's for highs. But what I really hope for is some wonderful spring temps...I'm not exactly ready for summer just yet. |
We had a beautiful day today in the 70s:) I didn't take pictures all winter outside so I was out today, to catch the buds on the trees. My friend and I walked down to get an ice cream cone and I just soaked in that wonderful sun on my body.:bravo:at last. |
I have planted all week....tons of flowering shrubs and plants!! Bought hanging baskets, lots of shade loving plants for my front bed......and NOW, in Houston Texas,4/13/14, we are forcasted 30* temps overnight on Tuesday and Wednesday next week! |

Maybe you can cover the ones you planted with baskets, brown paper bags or plastic. I had a friend who planted early here and she did what I mentioned and it helped quite a bit....bet you knew that. |
We were windy and warm yesterday but today it's 69 and a cold front is coming this evening to drop the temps into the 50's tomorrow with low in the 30's and it is forecast to stay far below 80 all week with some very cool nights. I can wait for warm weather as when it gets here, it stays too long and hits us too hard. |
Yes . . today is the day !! Windows are open and I am enjoying the wonderful breeze blowing through my home. Hope everyone else has gotten a bit of this beautiful weather Ohio is having right now because on Tuesday we may be getting snow . . . Crazy !! |

Me too! I certainly was not complaining....just surprised that we have lo temps again this late in the year! I wish I could bottle these days and have them around all year....those summer days here well into the 90's and 100's, I absolutely HATE!!! When I think of summer down here, my mind IMMEDIATELY goes to that electric bill that runs $400.00-$575.00 a month!! I will HAPPILY sacrifice everything in my beds if I can look forward to temps 40-70 all the way into September!!! |
Its been beautiful here in the 70s. I have bought some pansies for the back yard since they are hardy and my tulips are coming out so Im getting the spring feel |
Mother Nature Is At It Again |
We didn't get any of the bad storms here last night, the cold front came through and now it's 46 degrees! Nice and chilly for a Texas spring day and Tibbe loved the cool weather outside this morning - didn't want to come back inside. Now, he's curled up on the heated throw on the den couch. Love this weather! This time next month, we'll be running the AC. |
