Holiday Spirit???

Teri change of plans big time, we are staying in MI for Christmas. Still don't know if Ian has to work, but he had to go in the hospital Sunday night and was not released until yesterday. His heartbeat was off the charts. They finally had to stop and restart his heart to get it back in normal rhythm. He is now on medicine to regulate the beats, fingers crossed it works. Needless to say it was scary for him and I. So we decided to eliminate one big stress right now and that is to stay in MI, he is very happy about that I got back and forth happy one moment sad the next. My niece will use my Broadway show ticket and I will just forfeit my return flight. So now I will look forward to Christmas Crab Legs by the fire. And my friend and neighbor just sent us an invite to her Christmas Eve open house so we have something to look forward to.

So much is put on Christmas and how it is supposed to be a happy family time... and many don't go that way. It is so unfortunate
As I am getting older, I prefer as little stress as I can, and make it so. My kids will celebrate with me on the 24th, as per usual. After dinner we play some games and will perhaps watch a movie or something. Keep it simple is how I feel. Having said that, it is easy for me as I don't have immediate family to consider. Omg. I am so sorry to hear about Ian. I hope he is doing better. I think the guys do not want to go anywhere. Jon broke his ankle and had surgery on Friday so we are staying home too. I think we should stick the two guys together and we get together . Sending lots of good thoughts and blessings to you and Ian. Tell him I hope he feels better soon.

you know in Feb I will be in the city for that pet fashion weekend just prior to Westminster, do you think Jon would miss you if you left for a night or two. Ian does not come in for that. I could get a cot brought into my hotel room
