| Halloween costumes for humans Okay, I want to hear everyone's Halloween plans! Last year I did NOTHING! This yr I am attending several parties, doing a ghost tour in Galveston, haunted houses in Houston, co hosting a party as well. We like to stay in a couple nights before the 31st to carve pumpkins together, listen to the Halloween Pandora station, watch scary movies. I have nooo idea what to be though. For my bf we figured he can be a Mad Scientist. Since he was a molecular and cell biology major, he already has the lab coat and goggles. we want to spice it up more maybe...he has the round glasses and we can make his hair grey and use a comb to make it even bigger (He has long corkscrew curly hair.) No idea what I am going to be though....I'm past the point of being anything "humorous", or cutesy, and I am too chubby to be anything "sexy" (no one wants to see that!) So idk. What are y'all doing for Halloween? And any tips to spice up a mad scientist costume?

2+2=4 X the Love ♥ Donating Member | Hey chubby is Sexy !! Sounds like your going to have quit the exciting Halloween. For bf I would try making him look tired like he's gone without sleep for several days. Dark around his eyes, messy hair some curl some not. Make him an ID tag something with a crazy name and odd credentials. You can even get those clear ID pocket things that attach to your clothes. You could always go as his assistant or someone who was his lab experiment that went horribly wrong !! I have a couple of parties to attend and will be going as a retired play boy bunny. Just imagine a nursing home nightmare and that will be me. Don't Judge ! I don't just dress up I love role playing, I'm going to have a blast . . .

| I'll be at a quilt show, but..... My daughters friend is pregnant and asked me to make her costume. She saw this and wants one like it. I bought the shirt and baby doll earlier. Kind of funny, kind of weird, but definitely unique!!

| I like the science project idea. I haven't bought a costume in years but I have 3 I rotate between: Renn faire dress, felt poodle skirt and pink ladies jacket, and I have a huge black skirt and corset that can be styled different ways. All 3 are body forgiving. |

| I love the idea of you being the "mad scientist project". What a hoot! I didn't do anything last year - this year I'm going "over the top" with matching dog and people costumes for my friend Liza and her Rosie and me and my Lacie. We are going to be Woodland Sprites complete with tutus and light up wings. I am in the middle of making the people tutus today. Liza and I are both a bit chunky so we should look absolutely disgusting in our tutus |

2+2=4 X the Love ♥ Donating Member | I am always limited to what I can pull off that will look good with my glasses. It sucks ! I can get past the chunky part I just make it part of my costume and have fun with it. I just finishes making the accessories for my costume. They all turned out very nice.
